help quick.

check this out my plant is about a month and 5 days old, its about 3 or 4" tall and has 4 fan leaves the problem is the top 2 are almost standing straight up towards the light and are not flattening out, if i lower the Light it burns the plants and if i make it higher then seem to do what im explaining,

? is it okay for them to stretch out like that.

Pic would be nice. If you're using cfls, try to get a cfl (even a small wattage one) to the sides of it so it doesn't need to stretch so much to get light.
