Hey growers, so I’m pretty sure it’s been way over 9 weeks of flower now and I’m still not seeing amber trichomes. I’m an indica girl and prefer more of a couchlock effect, hence patiently waiting to see a few amber trichs appear.
I understand Durban Poison is completely sativa and that sometimes 9 weeks is actually 12 weeks. Which is probably what it has almost been.

My babies are inside as the weather is in the minus now. But even so, the soil on top was a bit white the other day so I covered the stalks with scarves (haha). I’m stuck between just harvesting now whilst they seem cloudy, and giving it a couple more weeks. I just fear for rot as even I feel a bit cold in the room they’re in.

I will upload some pictures that I took through the loupe and would appreciate if anyone could tell me if they seem on the milky side or not :) I’m not sure personally.
Also, as I was taking the pictures, I noticed one of the buds had the weirdest little black drops. Almost like animal droppings. It honestly doesn’t look like any bugs/pests and while it’s concerning it was easily blown off by my breath. Some have remained however. Not sure if anyone knows what the hell it is and if I should be worried?
Thanks in advance!

Edit: I went to check again with my dad and immediately he saw a small green worm/caterpillar near the black balls, so definitely poo. I was wondering why more of my leaves seemed munched than before. I remember seeing one butterfly continuously come back to my plant but I didn’t worry too much. He must have been on there since I brought them inside. Meaning he lived for quite a few weeks being fairly stoned

Looks like you have at least a month till harvest. But i have poor vision. I see no swelling at all
Yeah I checked when the pistils first around about appeared in my photos and it was actually September 8th, so it hasn’t been over 9 weeks.
I’ll give it a couple more weeks. The swelling I feel won’t get more more as the summer was awful and my buds are quite small anyway.
Thank you! :)
