greetings all....
have tried to diagnose my prob by reading numerous threads as well as other forum re: prob. sought some picture examples but just cant seem to narrow it down.

my set up is an ebb and flow hydroponic system, using a 250w hps light. Currently I believe I'm in early veg stage as my plants are about two weeks old. third set of leaves are coming up (attempting to anyway). onto my first week, I believe I had too much nutes as tips were burned...so I flushed them and used spring water. responded well as they grew dramatically. In a matter of 12 to 24 hours, whatever reserve the plant had, I believe it used cuz it sprung like a wild J-rabbit. 2-3 days after flush, I was hesitant in introducing nutes so kept it plain spring water. then decided to use distilled water for 24 hours with no nutes. minimal effect were seen but did not worsten. after about a day, I introduced 100 to 150 PPM nutes. it remains unchanged and very slow growth. since then I've increased the PPM to 300 to 400 PPM. no results...

arrggghhh....very frustrated now as so many hydro growers rave on how easy this is....

other observations were stems were purple. is this a reason they are so droopy. leaves do not have nute burn but just limp. is this potassium deficient. my nutes are botanicare 3-1-4 with 0.1-0.1-0.1 stimulant...
am i overwatering...have them set at 15 min on and 45 off...oh, no light burn either as top is green just like whole top leaf...
also keeping a pH of 5.5 to 6.2....

two seedling I have on my control group seems to be doing better and all I did was add miracle grow transplant and water...

here are some pics

all replies are welcome...help please...
