Help please just need some advice 400w/metal halide 400w/hps

I just took this plant from my freinds house afer i saw he was only using a 40 wat light.. Ive had i now for about 2 weeks and its under a 400w/metal halide light until i swich it to the 400w/hps light. I was getting scared that the plant went threw tto much shock switing lights over and while moving it from his house to mine...I would just like a few sugggestions this being my first ime growing and all. i watered it yesterday and i am using plant food 10-15-15 and fish emulsion 5-1-1... i have it on a timer set for 18 hours ligh and 6 dark... the past few days i have noticed that new growth is starting to come in really thick and wanted to know if i should be able to tell sex soon. thanks for the help,,..

I would think so that's a pretty mature plant, some need to get a certain age before they bloom, you never know until you grow them out at least once what they'll do.

its prob about 2 to 3 months old but like i said my freind had it under 40 watt flouresents so it hasnt grown to much.... but otherwise the plant looks healty? and how are my nutes do you think they will be fine? thx

yeah your doing good I think your ready to start flowering in a couple of days. Your nutes are OK, that's all I use pretty much. I'd cut the fish out a few weeks before flowering that's all.
