Contradictory instructions are listed. On the bottle instructions it reads,
use a plant BEFORE it shows it's sex. On TIRESIAS MIST SITE. directions read that a female is used. SO WHICH IS IT ? ANY BODY KNOW THE CORRECT ANSWER ....THAT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

well obviously if your feminizing a plant (forcing it to produce pollen sacks as opposed to pistils via ethelyne inhibition aka tiresias mist) it has to be a female so that when you take pollen from the XX male that youve made produce pollen and cross it to the XX female you get all XX seeds and with no Y in the picture (XY) you get all girls, does that make sense? so spray it once you flip to flower right when you flip is what it means.
you cant feminize a male. thats just a sex reversal and youd need ethephon.

Makes perfect sinse.. that is what I thought, but after reading the directions I started doubting myself.
Thanks for the clarity.

I do mine about week 2 till sex is shown. About 3-4 weeks total. If you already have female parts visible it's too late. Basically as long as the bud branch is old enough to start spraying.
