Warning: Video may be disturbing.. It's a little sad as you hear/see the dog being shot

Example of a REAL raid... not even a big one at that.

Video Info said:
This video shows a search warrant served by the Columbia Mo. police department. The cops bust in this guys house in the middle of the night and shoot his two dogs (one a pit bull that was caged in the kitchen and the other a Corgi) with children in the home. it turns out that rather than a big time drug dealer, this guy had a small pipe with some resin in it, a grinder, and what the cops here call "a small amount of marijuana" (meaning less than a few grams). We here in Comlumbia want everyone to know what kind of police department we have here, check out our "finest" in action.

Sad but funny at the same time…
Dude...I have a sick sense of humor...please tell me what is funny about that video.

Im crying too. Incredibly aweful! What kind of a convoluted world are we living in where the cops can bust into a peaceful family setting and fuck their lives up. This is something that is hard to ever get over.

OMG! That video made my eyes water. That is the most ruthless thing I have ever seen! Imagine how they would feel if a criminal shot a police dog and killed it. These people have no feelings and are programed like robots. I never thought I would say this but that officer deserves to go to HELL!

Right? I think we should just bring the founding fathers back by cloning or time machines or something, and let them run the country. FFS they created it you know
LEO's are taught that Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin were the first terrorists in the USA

This one won't scar you for life, but it is liable to piss you off...take note that this was filmed BEFORE 9/11...imagine the rhetoric now...still believe the official story???

So my friend spoke to a lawyer that has worked a bunch of the cases involving people getting busted at the same hydroponics shop and said this case is a slam dunk(not really sure what that means). He said that the lawyer will file motions attacking the warrant and ask for a dismissal and said he 98% positive that everything will work out fine. According to the 4th amendment, the house with was searched illegally so any evidence found in that house cannot be used against him. Also this is the store he went to, https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-news-around-globe/290997-welcome-fl-hydro-store-stakeout.html

I don’t know if this is a “slam dunk”. I wish there were more criminal attorneys on here to give better legal advice. I went to law school many years ago but never got into criminal practice. However, from my research, there is case law to indicate that a minor (with standing) can consent to a warrantless search of his/her parent’s house depending on the age (age 9 versus age 16):

General Rules:
· Person granting consent must have common authority over the place to be searched.
· If one party consents, but another objects, the search will be illegal. (Federal law allows party with equal privacy interests to consent over other party’s objection.
· Consent must be freely and voluntarily given.
· Minors can authorize a consent to search a home, but the law enforcement officer has the burden of making a thorough inquiry as to the minor’s authority over the premises.

With our Draconian US Drugs laws it would be a good idea to NOT be a dealer where there are minor children and dogs involved. The Jack-Booted Thugs WILL shoot your aggressive dogs that you bought to “protect” your crop and then parade your kids past their lifeless corpses (just like on the video). This made me tear up too but he brought it upon himself (legal pleas notwithstanding).

If you are in the distribution or grow business from your personal residence and have children in your home then you deserve to go to jail. My family has owned auto repair and machine shops since my grandfather’s days yet I never had my children sleeping next to the equipment that goes into these businesses. Why would you have your kids sleeping next to your grow room?

As far as the original post is concerned, if the OP is telling the whole story, the police are required under Florida Law:

FS §933.11 Duplicate to be delivered when warrant served. --All search warrants shall be issued in duplicate. The duplicate shall be delivered to the officer with the original warrant, and when the officer serves the warrant, he or she shall deliver a copy to the person named in the warrant, or in his or her absence to some person in charge of, or living on the premises. When property is taken under the warrant the officer shall deliver to such person a written inventory of the property taken and receipt for the same, specifying the same in detail, and if no person is found in possession of the premises where such property is found, shall leave the said receipt on the premises.

I shouldn't have watched it...you even warned me, but I did.

What low down FUCKERS.

If you kill a police dog, it comes with the same punishment as killing a police officer if I recall? Killing my dog should come with the same punishment as murder, if it wasn't in self defense. They felt threatened by a Corgi, and a crated dog? But of course, they were just doing their job right? Our system is a mess, controlling people with fear tactics is just wrong.

I do understand the point made by Scrooge. I grew before I had kids, and then waited until they were grown and moved out before I grew again...but I never thought about not growing at my home to protect my Pug and Lhasa!

The guy in the video had a pipe and a baggie with "residue" = he was out of pot. The pigs took the word of a known criminal snitch. Corgi's are working dogs, but I would not call them aggressive...the Pit bull was crated.

My daughter just went to bed...right next to the grow. It is a legal med grow for personal consumption only.

Marijuana wasn't tolerated during my kids age span of 0-18, and I didn't grow for that reason...I didn't want to take any risks losing my kids to the state or some such as an "unfit" parent, or subject them to violence.

Now the state I live in is medical friendly...but still, my "legal" grow is only defensible.

In WA state, having a signed document from your doctor is your defense. That doesn't mean you can't be arrested and/or have your stuff taken away; it just means you have a defense you can present...hopefully you didn't have too many plants or some such and you get off scott free....(except for the scars of the bust itself)

Better even, you are in Seattle (King County) and the cops will count your plants, look over your paperwork and tell you to have a nice day....still scary and intimidating.

But, "legal" or not, there is always a risk of a known "criminal snitch" as you mention, or a neighbor that smells something funny and calls the cops, or even someone who decides to rip you off?

Maybe I was an overprotective parent, but I don't think you could ever convince me that there isn't risk involved, legal or not, growing marijuana.

I can't watch that video again. I saw it shortly after it happened. If I remember correctly there was a HUGE uproar about the dogs and these officers had their asses handed to them for excessive force.

Ok so his son is 18 and was just there for the weekend since he lives with his mother and my friend isn't officially divorced yet. Since his son is not a permanent resident, does that mean he can't provide consent to be searched? He did wait until his son turned 18 before he attempted to grow.

I am aware that there is risk. The pigs are liable to take your shit and arrest you out of spite. I do not have people over or blab about my grow to avoid the robbery...that and a bad-ass German Shepherd...he is crated most of the time, but nobody know that. The neighbor thing could bring a call...I do n ot know how much knock and talk my local swine do, but I train dogs with a sgt of another municipal narc who tells me about doing these no warrant daytime opportunities to root through your wife's panty drawer...I aint opening the door for anyone...and they would not even bother trying to sweet talk their way in...my welcome mat says "Come Back with a Warrant";)

My plant numbers are way below what my script is for...not that it matters anymore...Cali Supreme Court struck down SB 420.

Unfortunately if they shot my dog I would lose it and end up in a lot more trouble...I will continue to keep my mouth shut, not have company, keep it small and continue to look old and not cool:)

My point was that the jack-booted thugs will shoot any "non-compliant" in the residence, especially dogs.

The guy in the video had a pipe and a baggie with "residue" = he was out of pot. The pigs took the word of a known criminal snitch. Corgi's are working dogs, but I would not call them aggressive...the Pit bull was crated.

Hayduke, this doesn’t pass the "smell test". Why would a SWAT team be raiding a house at o'darkthirty for a guy with just a pipe and some bag dust? Come on, get serious. This video went viral earlier this year and there were all kinds of rumors. From the research that I've done: The pit bull WAS NOT crated and the real story was ignored.

This guy had previously been convicted on federal charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana and was ordered to serve 15 months in federal prison. This isn't some poor stoner (like most of us) that got caught up, by accident, in the mythical War On Drugs. This guy was a major distributer but had the good fortune to not have the product in his residence when he was raided 8 days after the search warrant was approved. He had already had gotten rid of his inventory.

Chief: Warrant info too old

I applaud you for living in a "personal consumption" state. If yours is a case that you have a legitimate medical condition that cannabis alleviates your symptoms, then I would not fault you reading your daughter a bedtime story, kissing her goodnight and then going into the room next to her bedroom to tend to your "Ladies". You don't have to worry about having your front door kicked in and your dogs shot. I live in a Red State (like Missouri) where the fascist government doesn't recognize the rights of an individual to grow a plant or vegetable that the Bible considers a Gift from God.

Peace and Love!

Pigs smell bad. I trust every author of whatever rumor I may have quoted 100 times more than the filthy swine that chose this method of warrant service, resulting in 5 or so shot being fired in the house with a child sleeping and two family dogs killed in cold blood for barking (doing their job).

I will not be quoted defending the actions of human filth like the pigs of whatever jurisdiction near Columbia, Mo.

And My daughter is 15...I have not read her a bedtime story in some time...but she sure is glad that Dad smokes and she has a 4.08 GPA and volunteers her time working with special needs high school kids.

I don’t know how to react to Hayduke's post. He, obviously. has some juice in this forum. I'm a simple stoner that observes the Prime Directive. 99.9% of Stoners will not have a SWAT Team kicking their front door in and shoot their dogs. This guy is a felon convicted of cocaine offenses (which I am opposed to).

Hayduke, I don't know if your daughter is "glad (her) dad smokes" but I celebrate her working with special needs students. Do you proffer that just because you are a stoner; you believe she has a 4.08 GPA and works with retards?
