Ok so one of our other friends is growing as well(about 9 plants) since one friend just got busted, should he chop his crop down or continue? About 3 weeks from harvest. He has visited the same store but 4 times within the past year but has stopped going since he has been reading that going to that store has led to busts. He was thinking of finishing up and then replacing the crop with his strawberry plants. What do you guys think?
Were it me I would have to introduce them to my garbage disposal NOW. As I said before, Fla law is a mother fucker.

You guys growing in Florida are out of your freaking minds...but then to actually go to a hydro store...wow! I get the feeling I am being watched on the rare occasion I go to the local shop in SoCal.

The fucked up thing is that hydro shops don't just sell their wares to weed farmers. I have a good friend who has an aquaponics setup in his basement. He grows everything but MJ. Indoor hydroponics is a legitimate hobby that is finally beginning to catch on. Perhaps upwards of 80% of the customers of hydro shops are growing herb but where does that leave the other 20%?bongsmilie

Since they didn't give inventory or copy of warrant to the house they took the large number of plants from, does that mean anything? They only did inventory on the house that had the actual warrant and the warrant was to search the house with 4 plants.

The only things the cops can hope to gain on this guy is a plea deal. The search and seizure was illegal. It does seem as though he had a "friend" (using the term loosely) that thought rolling over on others would save him. As has been stated, if a minor opened the door and they came in ( I doubt the minor said comeon in ya'll and be comfortable), it is illegal. If no warrant was shown and you did not consent, it was illegal.

If a situation ever happens like this again and police are in your house because the door was open or someone opened a door and they "worked their way in", do not interfere with them or resist. Stand there and continue to state out loudly, "I do not consent to your being in my home. I do not consent to this illegal search and violation of my 4th amendment rights." Mkae sure they all hear you, neighbors as well if possible. That way, there can be no confusion in court as to whether you consented or not. Remember, that ANYTHING found in the course of an illegal search and seizure cannot be used to convict you of any wrongdoing.

Your friend needs to learn to protect his front door from within. He needs to have a talk with his family, and maybe use this event for a reason never to allow kids to answer the door, and never open the door to cops. Just by opening the door, one of them is going to "smell" marijuana whether it is there or not. Just yell through door that you do not talk to police and you mind your own business. They won't like it, but you'll preserve your freedoms and rights.

He will be talking to a few different lawyers tomorrow but the ones he did talk to today said that they can get him off with probation or a slap on the wrist. The lawyer said that it sounds like they illegally raided the house with large number of plants and thats why they did not trash the place like they did to the other house with the 4 plants and the legit warrant. They made it seem like they came just to get the plants and pretend like they were never there.

So my friend spoke to a lawyer that has worked a bunch of the cases involving people getting busted at the same hydroponics shop and said this case is a slam dunk(not really sure what that means). He said that the lawyer will file motions attacking the warrant and ask for a dismissal and said he 98% positive that everything will work out fine. According to the 4th amendment, the house with was searched illegally so any evidence found in that house cannot be used against him. Also this is the store he went to, https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-news-around-globe/290997-welcome-fl-hydro-store-stakeout.html

Wait.. wtf happened?

I'm too baked to read all those posts and gain any sort of comprehension

The OP sounds like bullshit, whos dumb enough to open the door with that many plants, not ask for a warrant or anything?? Then what kind of people are ballsy enough to go up to a grow house at 12 in the afternoon, say their cops with a warrant, then go in and take all the plants? AND EVEN ASK FOR BAGS?! LOL!!

DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR FOR THE POLICE. There is no law that says you HAVE to OPEN YOUR DOOR TO TALK TO THE POLICE. If they have a warrant they will just brake down the door because they can.

Cops are crazy with raids, a SWAT team raided a guys house at 3am, threw a flashbang upon entry, shot 2 of his dogs, and pulled him out of the house.

Over what? A "small amount of marijuana" and a pipe. Like less than a few g's of bud.

Supposedly there was an informant that said he had a lot of weed & sold it, and they found a baggie(s) with 'marijuana residue' and that was enough to get a warrant.. crazy shit.

What does that tell you about police protocol?

I sincerely hope that those fucking pigs get what they deserve...a Death far worse than the dogs...these POS pigs need to be removed from the gene pool, and if there is any justice in the world, it has already begun. Their families are better without them. Shooting people's dogs is like shooting their children. Remember Ruby Ridge!!!! I have ZERO respect for pigs and the BS job they pretend to do as long as they wage war against our brothers and sisters :fire:
