HELP me understand!!!!

I started my first Indoor garden about 6 months ago. I have grown huge outdoor crops successfully in the past three year. I decided this year to tone it down and move it indoor.

I set myself up in a closet with a 1000 watt MH, a 6" exhaust to the hood and 4" intake and a room exhaust ( that 1000 watt gets a little hot)

My room stay about 85 - 87 degrees during day time and about 75 - 80 during night. I decided to try Roots Organic for a soil ( I normally make my own outdoor soil )

This is where I need help! I'm not totally sure about what nuts to be giving during my veg. My outdoor was easy. Didn't have to give it anything in tell flower.

My "cheese quack", "Chernobyl" and my clones are not growing very fast at all!! And they been in veg for 8 week!!!! The cheese is 12" tall and the Chernobyl is about 16 - 18" tall WTF!?? I gave them little dash of earth juice rainbow mix and 4 weeks ago, made no difference!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Your temps are pretty high, Growth is a lot slower when your temps are in the mid-high 80's. Roots Original doesn't really need anything for a 6-8 weeks IMO. What is the room size, if it is smaller than 4.5'x4.5' a 1000w can be kinda overkill.

theres so many different kinds/types of veg/grow nute/fert generally just want something with high N-nitrogen. just get some advice from the store owner when you go to get some. And start with 1/4 or 1/2 of the recommended dosage then slowly build your way up as you figure out how your plant likes/handles it

My room size 5 x 10. With 8 ft walls. I had a 400 watt but it just didn't seem like a lot of light to me, very dim. So I stepped it up. I going to take your advice 941mick and get it cooled down a bit. And maybe look into a dim able ballast.

Thank you too rayray420, my next question is how much feeding during veg should my girls be getting? I.E. Every other watering, every other, other watering?

Directions will be on that back of the product you decide to use. Each product/type of nute/fert differentiates on amounts and times applied. for example im growing outdoors for first time and when I asked store owner what he would suggest he pointed me too Daga lord of the fields time release nute/fert one of grow and one of bloom and i just have to apply 30 ml per plant every 4 weeks then switch to bloom when flowering begins nice and simple :bigjoint:
Also good call on the lowering temps a bit In a standard, well ventilated grow room the optimal temperature tends to be between 24-29 °C (75-85 degrees Fahrenheit)
