Help me be Successful!

Hey guys and girls of Rollitup, first off would like to introduce myself. Im a long time lurker new poster. Love the work that all you giving people do to get us new growers the info we need. I have been looking info up for a good little amount of time, soon i will be starting my first COB LED organic soil tent grow ( first ever indoor grow )

So! here is what I'm looking for... your input on cob light, id like to say off the bat i truly have below fundamental knowledge on electrical work or lighting. BUT i plan to change that be for any thing is payed for! Here is the main system i have been looking at

So i want to put TWO of them girls in a 48x48x80 grow tent. In my tent i will have a 190 cfm inline exhaust fan with active carbon filter.SO i have THREE main questions I'm hoping some one can be a friend and give me there opinion. Is that enough light to grow some nice cannabis for the size tent? HEAT? will i need to worry about it? last but not least! What other lights can you point me towards I'm looking to spend no more than $1500, would like to have 2 units over just 1 and don't forget i am very fundamental in this so DIY is out of the question for now.

I noticed that one but most of the stuff i have read here say that all lights have sweet spots so would it be better to have 2 lights over 1? Or is it just the sheer watt vs watt with these things? And what kind of heat would a 600w light give off? try to avoid ac cooling the tent if possible.

I think the shape of the Vero light is better in a 4'x4' than 2 of the 200w cxb lights. You're also not paying a premium for the cxb cob that is no better than the Vero cobs. You could arguably use 800w in a 4'x4' like some do but 600w would probably be the sweet spot for ppfd and price.

The 200w fixtures you linked are better for a 2'x2', 3'x3' or two of them in a 2'x4' tent.

I'd get the Vero fixture or else the 600w Citizen fixture. Both are shaped great for a 4'x4'.

Yep the veros are a much better fit for your space.

that would depend on where you live. i run about 600 watts and right now my fan is on really low but during the summers i know it will be on full blast in my second story apt

I live in SoCal, so it gets pretty hot during summer, but if heat becomes a issue ill get a ac in there. About how much hotter will these lights run your tent?

My ambient room temp is about 72 and my tent runs like 78-81

I run 10x3590's in a 4x4

600w of Cree 3590's covering off 3'x8', 400w in a 4x4 is more than enough if you have things dialed in, 600w is overkill regardless of the chips used, no need for that in a 4x4, may as well run a 600 hps if you're going to do that.

BUT two concerns about this! I still don't have much info on the company! are they a good company, there lights a good product!?

As Nenno44 said that 10 runs the tent in the high 70s-low-80s, this unit has 12 lights. When speaking with the rep at Timber Grow lights, he says the heatsinks run about 80-90f with a slight breeze on them. So my question is again HEAT? will i need to be looking at supplementing cool air into the tent?

Only watts and efficiency matter not number of cobs ( roughly speaking). I think you'll be fine. If you runin to trouble you can dim the lights by a few percent while you wait for a bigger fan.

Timber lights have a long sanding reputation around here of being 100% legit.
