I have a 3'x8' flowering space to use under 2 600W HPS in tubes.
My original thought was to use 2 3'x4' DWC reservoirs and make tops for them that would have 16 plants each.
I would veg for 2/3 weeks and then flower.
My thoughts are that this would be easy to setup, easy to clean between crops, and might yield me a consistent, quality smoke with decent yields.
I would probably add external reservoirs to make things easier.
But now I am thinking of a recirculating bucket system with up to 12 buckets.
The benefit of this seems to be flexibility. I can have plants at different stages. Easily move them around, remove problem plants, even flush individual plants by moving them to a stand alone bucket.
It seems that if I had a problem in the tables it might be harder to fix. Physically moving and maintaining 16 plants on a styrofoam top doesn't seem advisable to me.
Also with a couple of extra reservoirs and pumps the buckets could be reconfigured so that I could do comparisons, experiments and tests. Endless fun.
