HELP!!! Greenhouse grow mites are back!!! flower week 4

Thanks for your help today. I'll let you know how it goes. The nursery was out of lady bugs today, but will have them tomorrow. I did get the marigolds and the garlic though, so hoping it's not too late for that to make a difference

I'm not sure if it's to late or not...can't say I have had my true own outdoor grow, but have helped with many and many of my friends outdoor crops (basically why indoor is well it was a struggle for me lol ) but the lady bugs def will help...hopefully you never know with damn spider mites....and your welcome

I would strip the lower 1/3 of each plant, that's where most of the mites & eggs are likely to be. That should slow them down until harvest time....good luck

I have been removing quite a bit from down below and it has removed a bit of the problem for now, but because the plants are so large, they are Maki g their way up the center inside leaves as well. Good advice though, thank you.

time to get aggressive if you wish to harvest any buds. Need to be brutal & try to save the best (top) buds. Best of luck

If the mites are doing real damage to the plant, is there a way to tell that the plant is not thriving through the infestation? For now, the plants are still doing amazing and are flowering beautifully. The outer portions of the plants still look amazing and I am only getting some slight yellowing of a few of the lower leaves which I thought was normal during the flowering stages. Hold on. Let me go take a photo right now to post. Keep in mind, the plants are 13-14 feet tall. It is difficult to show its entirety in a photo.

Those old lower/inner leaves aren't doing you any good now, they are harboring mites. Try to stay ahead of them if you can. Big plants create their own set of problems.

Ok. I took several photos, but I think I can only upload one at a time. I'm new to this forum and still trying to figure out how it all works.
This is a top bud. More photos to follow.
Also, I have been trying to get rid of as much of the lower, and yellow as I can, but there is a lot there and I can only do so much in a day.

These are my lower branches that I really don't want to remove, but have cleared as much from the inner parts as I can without actually removing the branches. I have never had a grow Luke this and NEVER expected my plants to get like this. They are literally TREES!!!

Just wanted to also share one of my gal outdoor that I threw out for the fun of it. No tent just good ol mother earth and some sun. Pyramid seed Tutkahoma clone. She is 5ft X 7ft wide. Miracle gro potting soil with Alaskan fish fert. Simple and easy. She started flowering 2 weeks ago.

Buy some pyrethrum TR foggers. Use them just after dusk and seal the greenhouse. Do it every 3-4 nights for 3-4 treatments. Then do it again every 2 weeks no matter what you think you don't see. Until you are 2 weeks out.

Wow! She looks good. Looks a lot like my girl scout cookies. I filled the greenhouse with 100 bags of ace hardware garden soil (because I get a discount at ace from a family employee), and 100 bags of REDI grow. I have been using Fox Farms Grow big for veg, and Fox farms big bloom/tiger bloom for flower. Also once a week, I add open sesame, earth juice catalyst, and vermicorp tea micro brew. I have been using Monterey BT for worm preventative, and then I did 2 treatments of floramite early on.
Unfortunately, regular store bought soil comes with pests such as fungus spores (many varieties of mushrooms I have been slowly eradicating), and tons of different bugs. I spray home defense pest control around the perimeter outside the greenhouse, and have been using predatory bugs like the mantis to keep the beetles and such, away. So far, this is the biggest, healthiest crop I have ever grown. If I could keep the mite problem under control for the next 5-6 weeks, I will be home free. I have just never encounter this severe of a mite problem and have always grown outdoor. I think the hot summer, and the drought out here in California has been a huge contributing factor to the amount of mites that are out in general.

There is no doubt that you know what your are doing. I wish you the best with the mite issues. Nothing is worst than caring so much for your gals and to be ruin by some pest. Mites are the worst for any cannabis farmers. Keep us inform and I hope to see some monster colas within a month or two. :clap:

mighty wash or azamax is organic and wont harm your plants.. thry will love it..dont loose hope brother..spider mites are controllable .. broad mites are the big problems people are having..spray every leaf top and bottom drentch them.every 4 days or every week..you will be ok ..keep fighting ..tell your self your gonna win.. stay positive
