hopefully you don't get bugs. Organic is a more advanced growers medium. Coco is better for a beginner.
I worked at soil distributor name Fafard.. the bark is composed at high temps (sometimes so hot they caught on fire) there for killing any bugs... In organic growing gnat are Going to come regardless. i have theory that using coco might actually bring spidermites into your garden.. "not always" but coco doesn't get composted like a soil blend, I believe using bark will actually hold water better and add a better flavor.. decomposition is your friend.
