I have been doing a lot of research reguarding LEDs and I think I have narrowed my choices down to a HLG 135w 288 v2 3000k or a 200wx6 in 3500k by Higgs/omega lighting here on the forum. My room will either be 32”x32” or 24”x24”. What do you guys think? open to other options as well just looking to stay under $300

I would recommend the slate double v2 and buy an appropriate driver and run it at like 2/3 power.

https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/all/products/qb288-v2-slate-2-double-combo
and maybe this driver? https://www.findchips.com/search/HLG-240H-54.

Would still keep you under your $300 dollar mark, would be efficient and make plenty of power for both spaces you are talking about. The slate 2 double is a little under 24" in length if I remember correctly.

have you looked into DIY with samsung or bridgelux EB strips? have you made your mind up to go with LEDs? a 315 watt CMH would do great in that space and would cost under $200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/120-240V-315W-CMH-CDM-Grow-Light-Fixture-Ballast-Kit-With-Lamp-3000K/332603711179?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=1&asc=52885&meid=458d5196cab84c05a4dd3371d86316d7&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=12&sd=112473609618&itm=332603711179&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

I did look into building my own but I am so indecisive its hard although I do like the idea of a even spread. Ill most likey purchase the 135w qb for a 2x2 mentioned above or the 100w from chilLED. How much is too much for a room this size? I would post links but i'm not allowed yet. I need at least 2 likes!

either of those 2 will be perfect
the cold one has the same base spectrum as the qb, but blue & red are boosted which I reckon is good
