HELP AMBER TRICHOMES 37 DAYS IN first grow

hello this is my first grow. 11 plants 65 gallon ebb and flow with 3000 watts led marshydro. All 5 gallon buckets have air stones( just tunes ston so suck). I never harvested before idk if my buds are the right place for thier age, especially my tangie og that has 10% amber trichomes already!!!!! I have a gorilla glue, 4 strawberry diesel, 2 chem 91, 2 tangie og, a pineapple express, and a black domina.

The 2nd to last photo is gorilla glue and the Last is strawberry diesel. One more question will the strawberry diesel fill out and become one big bud? 37 days in idk what to expect first grow!

Should I harvest the tangie within after a 2 week flush? Thatll be 51 days Or are the amber trichomes some other reason and I should let it go the 70-80 days this strain requires? Or is the source wrong and these not tangie?image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

First off welcome.
I do not grow autos.
Those do look like they are getting there. The pics are kinda fuzzy. I go by the whole plant. Looks like there are some white hairs yet?
Sorry can't answer better without more pics.

Those are not auto flowers non of them are.

Even on the tangie( amber trichomes)? I'm so happy to hear that I was scared that I was only getting a ounce off it! Thank you!
Also the second to last picture I showed, do you think that will become one big bud? Can I expect that much swelling in the next 4 weeks?

Sorry about that, got my threads confused.
But they do look fine.
I wouldn't worry about looking too much at trichs until you are a little closer. You'll drive yourself crazy seeing amber everywhere.

I was just making sure I didn't no what to expect cause it's my first time....I see so many posts about people cutting at 10% amber or little amber etc....I'm concerned it's not the strain I thought it was and maybe it's a 60 day flower? Also do you think those buds will grow more?

My advice to you I saw you talking about flushing save that shit for toilets it does nothing except remove essential nutrients for bud production in the last week don't make that stupid mistake please

Yes they should. It's really hard to tell from those pics but they've got some more swelling to do I'd bet.

Yo dude, I would say they're looking good for 37 days into flower, and agree with people saying that they got another 4 weeks still. If you take a similar angle photo of the whole plant like in your 3rd pic at 70 days old you will see the noticeable difference in what a fully matured plant looks like - it will bulk out alot more and where it currently looks like thin sticks with buds stuck to it, they will soon fill out and be bushy looking stems - the middle-latter weeks is when most normally pack on their weight. Plus you won't see it till its done but it is sorta obvious when the buds are ripened - generally goes a little darker and most hairs will be orange and flattened down, and hopefully glistening like it's moist with crystal!

I'd personally say only when you get near 60 days start checking the trics and it's not that critical a window of opportunity anyway that you gotta worry - if you check everyday you'll see the pattern of how quick they changing within 4 or 5 days, then harvest when you happy with what you seeing.

And yeah, I'd generally agree with no flush unless you've been using loadsa synthetic nutes or additives, etc, then 1 or 2 clean waters only for last week may help reduce any lingering residues, although this seems to be one of those things that is more personal preference rather than definitive rule.

Best of luck anyway dude and like I say, all looking good, healthy and perfectly progressive in your pictures so far!

go the 70 to 80 days, she looks ripe with those long pistils still yet to turn golden brown and shrivel. She is way to green and yellow right now, you need more color. why did you defoliate her so extremely. wow, rookie mistake.

Some Sativa dominant strains do show early amber but it doesn’t mean it’s close to being done.

Had no choice she got mites and was quarantined.....mites damaged her leaves to the point where they were brown and yellow due to bite marks....I quarantined her and caught it no other plants got them if u notice all my others I only defoliated lightly

Cool thanks for the info.....I'm worried I contacted the supplier told him about the amber ( my other 4 strains are fine no amber yet juzt cloudy) and he say it may be black gold ( he said 60 day flower)if it was mixed up! I just have no experience with this so I was confused when the amber appeared and then I thought the buds swelled because they got wide

thanks for the experienced advice! I was under the impression that flushing was to avoid harsh chemical tastes and to let the buds use up food.in the fan leaves. Thanks for the advice I won't flush then!

Sativas DO NEED TIME to properly finish ... Which can and most likely WILL run longer.

Here are words to live by :

When harvesting the Sativa strain variety, one quality is extremely crucial – PATIENCE . From the experiences of most expert growers, sativa dominant hybrids are usually ready for harvesting about 70 to 77 days into their flowering cycle. I personally had some push into week 12 of ACTUAL FLOWERING FROM FLIP. On the other hand, pure sativa strains as well as specific sativa dominant hybrids may need up to 83 to 98 days for them to finish and become ready for harvesting.

One more thing .... Stop yanking leaves , especially in flower , they will fade and drop as plant uses the reserves up . Tuck the fan leaves to OPEN PLANT to more light and try some supercrop or LST. I KEEP MY SATIVAS UNDER CONTROL ( height wise ) by cropping and mainlining.

what I'm using for nutes is sensi bud coco part And B, photosynthesis plus, and yield plus ( both foliar once every 3 days quickly dried with fan after)

Yes I did use LST and fimming that one just happen to get mites hence the heavy deleaf , here is the same sativa strain kept short and no mites I have going

Ah ok dude, I don't know those specific products tbh though I'm guessing from the sound of them that at least 1 of them is synthetic? Therefore you may be best doing final 1 week of clean waters only, as yes you can certainly get residues left in bud and it will taste (normally metallic or a clunky bitter taste) and is a reason why some buds will crackle when burnt.

Tbh, I personally think unless you been blatantly overloading on nutes, it makes little difference either way, although i do use organics only plus also believe if dosed right and not excessively then big flushes shouldn't be needed. Though tbf, people argue both sides very strongly so you'll just have to experiment yourself lol! I think at our level the difference probably equates to only a few grams loss/gain either way, so you may as well do what you prefer! And in all seriousness, I'd always rather risk weight over taste so tbh would probably also go on no feed for final week. This cause, in general, I'd say you don't need to flush if it's either a certified organic product or something homemade with actual raw ingredients. Anything else I would stop, using for at least the final week and clean water only, if not 10 days depending on what's in it.
