help! 18mm downstem won't fit 18mm bong

. Hi first post here I recently bought this http://www.ozbongs.com.au/Agung-Glass-Slider-Blue/ at my local headshop and it comes with this downstem http://www.ozbongs.com.au/Agung-Ice-Slider-Stem-Blue/ which fits perfectly but I want the bowl and downstem to be separate so I bought this http://www.ozbongs.com.au/DhOP-SG18-Slit-Diffuser-Stem-12.5cm/ a 18mm downstem which for some reason does not fit snuggly,


Can someone please provide me with the answer I'm looking for, is my bong fucked and Will it only take that specific downstem?
