Hello from the kansas heartland

I guess I'm going to be the oldest newbe here. I never smoked a lot when I was younger, but at the age of 38 I developed adult onset epilepsy. and instead of taking the perscription of lortab for the pain, my son recomended weed, which he happend to have ( of coarse dad was unaware of this). I soon found out that weed not only makes you feel better about life in general but is the best pain killer I have ever seen. After a grand mal seizure the pain is unbearable but the weed will kill it. the funny thing about it is it also seems to be controlling the epilepsy better than the meds the doctor perscribed. I think I'll keep on sparkin-em-up.

First, welcome to the community. Second, isnt herb the greatest medicine EVER?? way better than anything my doctor ever gave me! finally, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON HERE FROM KANSAS!!! hahaha Im glad to see im not, hopefully someday our conservative state can adopt a friendlier outlook on the marijuana issue. Until then, be careful man. the penalty for growing in kansas is RIDICULOUS!!!!
