Hi, new here.
I came from the early age of cheap purple LED grow lights from ebay and alot of misinformation, disinformation and lack of information on the cultivation of this fine herb from terra.
Now times have changed and I've gained much information on this new cob technology and those QB304 Quantum boards, things look amazing.
Given my attention to being anonymous I plan on starting my grow on a 2x2 Homebox Ambient Q60 tent.
Just when I was about to order a 200 watt x4 cxb3590 3500k setup from timbergrow I've encounter these QB304 panels from samsung kits from Horticulture Lightning Group (tm) which I can't link because i'm a forum scrub.
and I was maybe thinking about getting a 130 watt 3000k version for flowering and another 5000k version for veg.
But im not certain, any advice would be welcome :bigjoint:I think the cobs with the angelina reflectors might have more canopy penetration, but again not certain.
also, where can i learn about nutrients in semi-soil (or is it soil ?) ? I plan to use this awesome setup of soil + hydroton and use this awesome air dome thing which would provide oxygen to the roots. But I have no idea where to begin with nutrients, I suspect alot of it is snake oil with all these trippy pictures on the product they all use, can't decide. :weed:
anyway, i'll begin my logs soon, as soon as I settle on my light setup ;) :hump:
I'm a man of science so any help on tools like microscope to see the crystals on the buds (trichesomthing right?) and some cheapish PAR measuring device, any measuring devices I might require in this journey, any tools of the trade if you know what I mean folks :) thanks alot!

Edit: I forgot to mention I'm also into 3d printing! And I'm planning on bringing these 2 fields together and print things we might require for our... things. For starters I have already plans in motion for these clips which would be adjustable and be able to hold firmly 2 Cooliance heat sinks, which in-turn allow for endless configurations of setups, without the use of a frame at all!,I think it would be stylish and work well, also most importantly it would be modular ! Other plans are in motion for snap-on fixtures to add your own cooling fan to a variety of things, this would direct air a lot more efficiently ;) stay tuned folks :)
