Heavy dope smokers in legal states getting sick? WTF?

It's real from the readings I have read. It's chronic users who usually come down with CHS (not to be confused with CVS). Leafy did an article on it. As well as other news sources. It's been around for years, it's rare and has been seen in other countries as well.

I skimmed the article and I thought it said something that warm showers help??? Overdoing anything is not good.

It helps with the symptoms, but even after stopping for several months it can still come back. In Leafys article a guy stopped for 3 months and still had symptoms when he started back up. There's not much known about it.

So wait, people who abuse a "Narcotic" day in and day out, emphasize on waking and baking and generally remaining stoned for years after years with no tolerance breaks are getting sick as hell? Wow shocking! In other news, man landed on the moon.

Who says? Endless videos on youtube that it was fake and they could never get past the Van Allen Belt.

I agree that too much pot can hurt you.

I sure hope this information is exaggerated...but there are certain growth products etc. that can be dangerous if not provided in quantities that the root system can flush out. Top Shelf Life Always

Well for the information to be useful there needs to be a scientific study done, along with everything that entails, before the data is meaningful. This kind of reporting is thin on facts and long on subjective assumptions.

For instance, what in their opinion constitutes "heavy" use? Are they talking about a couple of grams or 2-3 times that much?

What type of cannabis product is being used? Buds come in lots of forms, imported or locally grown, commercially or organically produced, bud, hash, extracts???

Frankly, I've smoked "grass" since the mid-70's and while not constanly, nor am I a heavy smoker, I've known plenty of people who were and I never in my life have heard of any such health issue. Of course lots of pot smokers also smoke tobacco, as well as those who have other health issues that might be exacerbated by pot use. Imo this definitely smacks of propaganda, and of course the news media has lowered their standards on reporting facts in favor of sensationalism just to grab clicks and eyeballs.
