Hey Sun Burner!
I myself am a newbie to all this, but am growing about 10 strains n 15 plants. This is not an expert advice or opinion, but other than the minor tip burn, she looks to me to be coming along nicely. Don't know your lighting or nute plan, but it seems to be working. I believe you already know when she lacking or had too much of anything, so keep paying attention to her. As she gets older, she'll need more n you'll have the sense for it. Keep up the good work Burner n I hope you end up with a awesome harvest

looks fine to me, not super frosty like you said, but the buds will most certainly fill out much more as flower goes along..

When do the flowers burst on autos it says 60 days but thats hydro dwc.
tbh, i've never grown an auto flower plant before, but going off of common sense and what i know of photo period plants, i've read that autos usually start to flower around 30 days or so from seed, and most strains can take at least about a good 60 days or so to flower, so that'd be a total of 90 days from seed for an auto..
again, i've never grown an auto, just going off of what i know of how long it takes an auto to begin flower, and using my knowledge of how long photo period plants take to flower, and adding them together.. i could be off a bit, but i'd not think i'm off by any large amount...

Does anyone have any inside secret to how long autos take? Will the leaves turn yellow super newbie question?

so yeah, you say yours has been going for 7 1/2 weeks now, that would make her about say 2 to 3 weeks into flower, if she went into flower at around day 30 or so, so you'd still have a good 5 or 6 weeks left on it if it were to flower for 60 days, a typical flowering period for a lot of photoperiod plants. she looks to be right on point for the amount of time it's been flowering imo..

well, all of those pistils, white hairs, that you're seeing, will recede back into the buds when they start to get close to being done..
a second thing to look for is the calyx, the main part that makes up the buds, will start to really swell up nicely, you'll know when you see it what i mean..
third, when you start to see 1 and 2, you can start to look at the color of the trichromes and see if they're starting to go from clear, which they all are probably now, to milky, and finally to amber.. i like to harvest when i start to see about 5% or so of the trics starting to turn amber.. oh yeah, go by the trics on the buds, not the ones on the leaves as they tend to turn sooner than the trics on the buds for w/e reason.
in order to see the trics, you'll need a handheld either microscope, or a loupe, i prefer one that's at least 60x power.. radioshack has a decent handheld micropscope thingy that's 60-100x power, that works well, for around, i forget, but it's under $15 and a good invest if you plan on growing more in the future..
