Healthy clones outside and happy. Should I add extra light at end of the day?

I got a bunch of happy clones (girl scout cookies) out here in central coast CA. They are all currently in 1gal pots and beautiful. They are totally adapted to the sunlight so they are outside all day long. I have a buddy that recommended giving them an extra two hours of light under my T8s come sundown for the next month (til May 15th) before i transplant them into bigger pots and they stay outside permanently. I was a little concerned with them going into flowering early but he said it wont matter because well have like 15 hour days anyways or whatever. Any thoughts? Recommendations?

He is correct, plants never get enough light ...just ask?

Thanks bro, i just wanted a second opinion. Was just scared of the girls flowering early as a result from a 2-3 hours light drop in about a month. Would strike sadness in the hearts of men. Lol

My seedlings and clones are in a greenhouse, with flourescent tubes set to come on from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM and then 4:00 AM -10:AM. I'll put them outside around May 15th .

Just cut back an hour a week 3 weeks before putting them outside for good. I've never had trouble with clones handling a cutback of two hours as long as they are getting 15 hours a day or so.
Seedlings seem to do better than clones in that respect.

Yea that makes total sense. As of right now im giving them 2 extra hours per day. Will cut back one hour in 1.5-2 weeks or so. So when i throw them outside it will only be a one hour cutback =) to 14-15 hours day which is how it is during mid-may here in cali. These things gonna blow up during the summer haha
