(Fortune Magazine) -- When Irvin Rosenfeld, 56, picks me up at the Fort Lauderdale airport, his SUV reeks of marijuana. The vice president for sales at a local brokerage firm, Rosenfeld has been smoking 10 to 12 marijuana cigarettes a day for 38 years, he says.
That's probably unusual in itself, but what makes Rosenfeld exceptional is that for the past 27 years, he has been copping his weed directly from the United States government.

yes...there are 5 people or so, who have taken their cases to supreme court to be federally approved for medical pot. the first person i believe was bob randoff...who suffered glaucoma, and cannabis prevented his condition from worsening so he could maintain his eyesight

and yet despite this, the DEA continues to raid dispensaries and cannabis remains a schedule 1 drug (meaning it "has no medicinal value").

government hypocrisy/bullying at its finest huh?

yeah man theres a chapter in the cannabible about it... (page 54 and 55) The IND program. U.S. v. Randall - 1976 was the landmark case. I think we as americans should be callin the gov on alot of shit for example its illegal for the fed to charge us taxs for OUR LABOR. In the 1930's they tried twice to get that passed and congreess wouldn't allow it because it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL. BUT on december 25th (forgot what year) it was appealed and passed due to the fact that all the honest hard working americans were at home with they're family and all the currupted payed off secret society cock faces passed it. Its our 15th amendment we don't have to pay taxs. Theres a movie on that called From Freedom to fashism.

I worked with one of the 5 ppl...... his name was Fred. I'll leave off his last name. He would always have these big bomber joints of the finest weed. Program of course got canceled, but these folks were already in and got grandfathered.

Fred had bad Glaucoma and swore by the weed. The Govt. did too, but is reluctant to admit it publicly.

Fred was stoned all day long.... the bosses put up with it, as long as he didn't broadcast it. The Govt. had him on a strict quota so he wouldn't sell his govt. stash. If they caught him breaking the rules, instant boot out.

legalization will have no actual logic behind it.
all the cards are already on the table.
politics determine if and when it will happen and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I don't remember how much they gave him, but it was an exact amount. He was part of an ongoing study. The govt. considered it to be a medical issue, and so he was "dosed". I smoked with him on occasion, but he never gave me any.... I understood.
