(6) SEPARATE PLANT RESIN FROM A MARIHUANA PLANT BY BUTANE EXTRACTION ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.

On Tuesday, September 22, three bills that would drastically change the medical marijuana program in Michigan were passed out of committee. The committee hearing drew a large crowd of patients, caregivers, and would-be entrepreneurs who testified and gave their opinions on the languages of the new bills.

The bills, HB4209, HB4210, HB4827, would change the marijuana protections to cover edibles, concentrates, and dispensaries while also initiating a seed-to-sale tracking system across the state.

Looks pretty close to what any of the legalized recreational groups are offering. give or take a plant or 2.

All these bills are going to do is over complicate the process and add more costs to it. I feel for people that are breaking the law every day because they chose to or need to use cannabis in edible or extracted form, but these bills, as written, are not the answer (IMHO).

Nothing to do with mi legalize or any legalization initiative. This is ammemnding the mmma of 2008 to specifically not allow butane extractions

they changed the wording on that passage to say that butane extraction is prohibited "inside" a residential property. I assume you will be ok as long as you work outside.
there were a few surprises in the bills that were actually voted on, for instance they originally proposed that caregivers could transfer up to 50oz per month to dispensaries, but that was eliminated...

I kinda like milegalize, and have signed the petition.

I just don't get the whole 12 plants thing if its fucking "legal" then I should be able to grow how ever the fuck many I wish and possess as much as I wish. Don't be fooled it will only become legal for the select few to make huge ptofits. I won't sign it simply because this petition is doing nothing more than gaining the voters acquiesce to use force and or cohesion. You will still have your kids,house and dog shot when they suspect your selling. The government will still arrest you for driving with marijuana in your system. You still will not have the right to self defense or the right to own a firearm.

But it's better than nothing right?hahahaha.
