have i got i right ??

Basic organic tea .....

15 lt water 6.5ph 23°c

1 tbsp unsulphared molasses

2 clean socks full of good compost

1clean sock full of bonemeal ( 3.5•17•0 )

potassium silicate ( not organic 0•0•23 )

air bubbles .


iv got some potash ( 0•0•48 ) but wasn't sure if this was right

am i right with the above and if i was to keep this tea going , how often do i refill the socks etc etc ??

and liquid seaweed for extra N

I would leave everything out (including the clean socks) except for the compost and molasses. Good luck!

Very simple concept here. Microbial life+salt=destruction of cell walls which completely defeats the purpose of a living tea.

Oh and why not the clean socks? Anytime you wash clothes and use soap, residue is left on the clothing. To the point that if you run out of laundry soap, there is ussually enough residual soap left on your clothes to reclean them without adding additional soap(if you dont know this then you have never been poor...kudos). Soap is not a very got tea ingredient.

I can replace the salts i mentioned with the potash........ Then its salt free


and iv sterilezed the socks with steaming boiling water and rinsed about 1000 times lol with fresh water .

and nonorganic nutes don't kill bennies anyway, they don't in hydroponics .

I cannot speak to whether or not the potash will help. I would think it would be better to find another source of potash if you are doing organic, greensand and kelp are two sources. Or at the least make the potash a small amount of your soil mix. Something like 0-0-45 is a strong fertilizer, I think thats about what it is. If you want the benefit of a living tea, stick with the compost, water and strong aeration.

You will never get the full benefit of bennies in hydro. Imo if doing hydro, and I am, stick to base nutes.

this tea is for my soil grows and iv just got a bucket in the corner of my room bubbling away , i thought i could add organic nutes to the mix the bennies break them down so i can use as a full feed for my soil .

Your wasting time brother first problem is reading npk numbers in organics. Second off you don't feed the plant you feed the soil (microbes) which in turns feed the plant. You don't pH anything or worry about pH in a well made soil. Use ewc a Lil molasses and bubble for a heavy microbe population. Top dress with your dressing and use water

Here is something to google..."things to add to AACT" "what is AACT" and like many things with growing. Less is more. And google is a tool, ask it questions, take some of the answers with a grain of salt. Experience is knowledge applied.

But iv just read another thread and this tea ( minus the nonorganic ) is fine ...... Iv even got fields of stinging nettles to add aswell

Hey man idk everything. Just trying to point you in some direction. The whole point is to be growing really good cannabis. I am and the peeps hear, that have been here for a while, have not steered (pun) me wrong. Every growing style has its own place, if you make your own and it works great then awesome. Who am I to tell you what to do?

I know about aerobic teas with no air and shit , and i know foaming activity is just some sort of protein from the castings etc etc
