DONT USE RONSON BUTANE, use that triple or quad filtered stuff.. its expensive.. but i'm sure your hash is really just "trash"..
why is that? All butane meant for lighter refill is gonna have some type of propane added or your lighter wouldn't work in cold weather.
I wonder where the people that post this info on ronson get their info because according to the msds it's butane with no other additives.
Just because it's filtered 5 times doesn't mean they haven't added something to it. Filtering is just in consideration to your lighter.
I've always wondered why people post this about ronson. A look at the safety sheet it's much better than some.

although this seems much more accurate as a safety sheet for ronson.....

Now that I look at it ronson does have a much higher percentage of propane than it could.

and remember, safety first and just say no to water!
You seem like you know what you're doing, why not give it a field test? Do a batch with the expensive stuff, then one with ronson and see if there's anything to it?

no no, I can see the amount of propane isn't acceptable but all butane meant for lighter refill is gonna have something in it.
I use vector and even though it's filtered its still meant for lighters and has trash. I should have invested in a bottle of n butane but haven't gotten around to pricing it.
May be hard to get and expensive. I am looking for a alternative to the vector though.

-bump- For those of you worried about your strange white oil, and finding yourself on this thread, I have a tale to tell.

Look this happened to me and a few buddies of mine, our first time making this stuff also. Our main guy with the goods, and I do mean some of the most tenderly cared for, beautiful dank goods, straight from their birthplace, had researched making oil for months. Our stuff wasn't poison, we didn't use pvc - we used glass, both for the butane process - in which it was a glass tube - and the cooking, and we used premium colibri butane, 99.999 percent pure. The liquid that came out was also clear, we didn't know why but we went ahead and started to heat it on very low, lightly stirring the mixture for a bit. It started to sort of have a film on it, also clear, but there nonetheless. We left it to sit then for a short time, and when we started to scrape and it was a milky, very very slightly yellow white color, but pretty much just white, and crumbly. Definitely did not end up an actual oil until you hit it with a lighter, at which point it would bubble into a liquid and turn deep amber. Also after a week or so it started turning more amber colored inside. Not clear as to why. It was amazing, definitely a thc high and not something else or something weird, and I just have to say it didn't make me black out or vomit or anything - just get really fucked up in the best way there is. So most basically what I'm here to say is, white is possible. You just got to have the best shit.
