Hash Oil/Earwax Help?

yes thats what bho means.....I'd die for some of that ear wax right now

low heat is certainly the key. whipping it can take a looong time too. i use a drill, much quicker. 10 minutes on a low heat double boil, then ten minutes off. back and forth until it dries up.

Older thread but only one I can find, is they're a link to a tutorial on making ear wax? Any help appreciated.

The truth Of Earwax is that if its not pure enough you will never achieve Actuall PB like hash because it will not dry right.

Pure of the pure and ALOT of whipping on and off a low heat source eventually dries it out (takes along time to dry wax out so that it can "crumble").

i just posted these photos in another thread regarding TGA strain wax, but heres the pics again of the wax i just made and the nugs i made em from. its all about the strain and potency. this stuff dried out in maybe an hour with minimal whipping. i was overwhelmed with how much quality shit i got this time.

i remember being so fucking pissed when i made this thread because i wasnt getting any better. then a new round of genetics later and i feel like a pro haha. im also having visuals from too much kaboom/jillybean booger bombs

this is from pink lady. notice how they both have a very blonde appearence, with almost a purpelish tint? Looks like there is more wax talent in this town

ps ive been taking it to glass or "amber" and letting it sit and the stuff changes to wax over a night or two and the stability is maybe a little harder than if you go all the way to crumble hash. And I am finding that the consistency is kinda strain based. And that TRIM works way better than buds, for color and consistency. if you put flowers in it makes it a little darker and less stable. anyone finding the same things?

i dunno, i used nug and trim for all those pics. honestly i barely whipped the agent o and the jilly, it just kinda hardened up really quick. ide have liked it to stay a little gooey for dabber capability, but i just use the kaboom and og for boogerbombs of the flaky stuff. i think its all about the strain, and u cant go wrong with anything subcool for makin waxes.

No your doing it right just let it rock and roll for a little longer and it will will will wax up, or if like ganjagodess said its not pure enough it will just go peanut on you. still trying to figure out why some will and some wont i guess thats the purity part?

its the "cannabinoid profile"......whatever that means.

And I honestly think it has to do w how the trim its treated. When I'm careful not to break it up when putting it in the extractor and if I just put trim, no buds, it comes out more blonde and waxy or stable... Crushed trim thats jam packed in or that has a bunch of flowers come out brown and greasy. And not stable. Lame.

I too am just getting the amber glass not peanut butter or earwax using tga too vortex. driving me crazy. I can get a golden shiny amber but not buttery at all, what I am missing

Pretty sure that's a bad idea, I think glass and stainless steel are the way to go.

Had good luck with one of the stainless steel turkey basters from walleyworld if you're in a hurry. Ebay
has a nice selection of glass/stainless extraction tubes for decent prices.

Agreed, no copper. Heady glass in denver will have exactly what you want, ask for chris, they ship too. Glass extractor. Or what disp84 said to, if your just giving it a shot. But eventually glass is king...
