Has anyone thought of making there own nutrient recipe

ive been doing alot of research about whats in the nutrients i buy from my grow shop and what cannabis plants need for the veg stage and the flower stage, through the flowering stage they say they need P- phosphorous K- Potassium, i no you can buy pk13-14 but has anyone tryed getting bottles of pure p.and k and mixing them at higher percents and used during a grow, if so what was the results???
