Harvesting Opinions

Hi,

I want to ask everyone what they would do in my circumstances. I know what I would normally do but i'd like to get everyones harvesting opinions. I may try something different this time if anyone has any interesting advice or methods.

I unfortunately have no pictures because my phones details are terrible so you'll just have to create your own mental image based on my descriptions.

Im week 8 flower and i've never grown this strain before. It's called Mr. Burns and is Indica Dominate, it is e32 Trainwreck x Unknown Afgan Kush. I have about 5%-6% amber trichs but there are also about 10% clear. The rest are solid white. The growth has slowed way down and the Pistils are 80%-85% brown and retracted except the two largest cola's which are predominately white. The other 20 cola's are 80%-85% brown then the smaller buds in and beneath the canopy are about 60% brown and have NO amber trich's.

Now, would you chop now? Would you wait longer? Would you harvest the most mature buds and leave the others longer? Or?

This is supposed to be a 9 week flower but it was grown DWC which can knock a week to two weeks off flower times. Would you start flush now or nutes with big pk one more week?

Normally under these conditions I would start flushing now and after flush begin removing only the mature buds and the others as they ripen.

I would appreciate anyone and everyones opinions! I may just go with the best idea just to do something different than I normally would.
Please no insults and debate differences respectful

I wouldn't bother flushing, shits going to stay in the buds no matter what you do but then again I haven't run hydro jmho... Without pics it's hard to tell where you're at, but I think you should consider letting the more mature buds run for at least another week, harvesting them, and then let the others ripen up. You've waited this long, let those buds get to there full potential.
