How long you going for? The humidity rule if followed will give you 7 days mold free if you can produce a room that's 70f 70rh % 7 days. Start your flush asap, and remember to pull your plant after its had at least 12 hours of dark. 24 if possible. All the sugars and starches recede to the roots at night. Good luck.

So i will be harvesting, in 6 weeks, leaving on a saturday and returning on a saturday. day 63 will be the day we leave. i do have some that could possibly go longer. i know i will have 2 out of 4 will be done near day 65. im trying not to ruin the crop if at all possible or do the least damage. its usually 85 degrees in my apt. use my 4x4 tent to hang them up and leave them for the full 7 days fan leaves removed unattended while on vacation. any advice? not sure of the humidity level with everything off in my tent, will have to run a test on that in the next week or so.

leave the plants in total darkness and dont cut them down until you return. They shouldnt hermie in only 7 days, and even if they manage to throw some nanners there is no way that there will be time to produce seeds or even pollinate the bud in such a short time. this way you can stop your plants from drying out super fast and you being away and then its all messed up :( .

ok, i like where your head is at with this, so just water them, shut the lights off and walk out the door sounds like it might be the best option. this is kind of a messed up situation, normally this kind of thing would never happen, unavoidable situation unfortunately.

I have a very similar situation happening to me actually. I have 6 plants going on day 61 but I have to leave for a week on the 65th day. I'm not sure what to do, what was the outcome of your situation?

honestly, its still a couple weeks away, but i will either take them in a week, dry them and get them in jars to cure or let them go until the morning i leave. ill remove fan leaves and let them dry, which will definitely be too long at 7 days in my place, but it really depends where they are in a week. its taking 3 days to see them start to rock up, so its possible i need to slow the drying process to 7 days.

all the sugars recede into the roots?
This is news to me.
Nevermind, what i'd do, if you really want to harvest them, is simply leave them unwatered, and let them start their cure with the roots still attached, just turn the light off, and let them start to dry.
One of the best accidental cures I ever did was when I got pissed at a mite infested plant, and stopped watering it, and after it dried out in the container for about 25 days, under a redwood tree, I was bored and plucked a nug off, and it tasted damn good, better than my normal cure in fact.
Not recommending that for an entire harvest, but for your circumstances...
seven days with the roots attached would be the best bet, in my opinion. Just keep it cool, lots of airflow, and obviously the lights off.
