Harvesting a White Russian...

Hello, I have some Joey Weed White Russian's that are in their 64th day of flowering. I added some new lights 4 weeks ago (realized I did not have enough lumens for the grow area) and only had 1 real issue, when the stem bent (slightly frayed but didn't break) halfway up my plant 5 weeks ago. Since then everything has been coming along wonderfully.

The plants are in a Grow Lab under 26W CFL's. I am wondering if when the stem bent it took some time to regenerate and will add some extra days onto the flowering period? Every projection I see for this strain says 8 weeks and it looks ready, but there has been a recent uptick in growth and new pistilles. When I look under my 60/100x magnifier all the trichomes appear mostly cloudy (still some clear, few amber) but I want the 'knock you on your ass' high.

Should I continue to wait or do you think it is ready to harvest now? This is my first grow, I was all set to pick but this recent change has given me pause. I understand how the trichomes develop (thank you rollitup!), I just don't want to pick it too early. Any advice?

Thanks.

Still needs some time. Enjoy when it is finished - it is one of my all time favorite strains.

Thanks tnrtinr, I have heard great things. Have you grown them before?

If so, any estimate as to how much longer it might be? Think it might be more like days or more like weeks?

When I think back to some of my early time projections I laugh at how far off-base I was, but with this being the 8th week I cannot even be productive in life because of how much I think about them.

Thanks Lowkster, really appreciate the input, responded in the other thread.

Last nute addition was 2 1/2 weeks ago, going to be waiting another 11 days so that should be a good flush. Thanks unknown.

looks like it can go another week. That new growth needs to ripen more. Take a few xanex and wait another week. These seedbanks tell you 8 weeks only because they want to make a sell. Nobody wants to wait. You have to use your own intuition.

Will begin growing WR. Im a newbie to the whole thing first grow. I have been reading books like crazy for bout 4 months. But I love these forums you guys create cuz its situations you guys answer good for personal experiances. Quick run down of my setup - 1000w MH(110k lumens) and HPS(150K lumens), 435cmf exhaust, 4x4x6.5 grow tent, 3gall pots, GH nutes, going produce c02 with dry ice.

My question to you sir....is what was your dry yield, and the setup that produced that?
If you can or anyone can what ball park figure could I expect concerning yeild with White Russia?
Im starting with 10 seeds, depending on how much I get per plant will determine if I do a SOG 16-20 plants or allow 3-5 plants to do there thing.

Thank in advance for anyone who helps.
