harvest and force revegg

i want to take off most of my bud from a few plaNTS(HARVEST CUZ THERE READY) but leave some brances and low hanging buds and froce a revegg t get more clones. how long will does it not take to force a revegg, how much branch, bud removeal can ii do wit seriously stunting the plant(deathbed status)?

first off if it did ever snap out of it and go back to veg it would take forever, dont waste your time trust me, but if you do do it please do a grow journal on it so everyone can see how it goes.

unless you're on an extreme budget or you want to keep that strain for some reason i would just get some new clones, BUT i have revegged a cutting from a girl 7 weeks in flower. no hermi but it did take a pretty long time to start showing signs of new growth, although now its prolly one of my best looking plants.

I just reveged an AK clone from this summers outdoor grow.
She was a special plant an i couldnt loose the genetics tell i got some seeds or clones off her.
I revegged under 24 hrs light, for a month , tell she was makin fan leaves again.
I just kept the super small pathetic buds on the bottom of the plant for reveg, not even a bowls worth, but she revegged great!
I prolly could have took clones of her about 3rd week, but have no room in my cab.
Im going reveg alot more plants in the future, I dont know why I hadent been doing this alll along.
I believe its no harder on a plant than cloning off her.

Go ahead and do it. Leave some of the smaller lower nugs(mostly the lowest ones on the main branches) on and return to 24/0 light. As for how much it would take to kill it, well, you could probally do it and leave just a few leaves and it will live and eventually recover, that doesnt mean you should do it however. really no matter how you do harvest and reveg your going to be stunting growth in the sense its not really going to do much for a while while it reverts and recovers, if thats what you mean by stunting growth. It wont cause it to hermie or anything, youll be ok. patience is a virtue.

oo i know its gonna take a LONG time, im not planning on taking anything off till march or so, i would plan on it reveging throughout the winter. i know its not the best way or quickest but its the easiest for me, and like SCARHOLE im doing it because i dont wanna lose the genetics on the plant..even if its slightly different after reveg

I did a small indoor grow last winter and took about 1/4 oz of bud off the plant and revegged outdoors all summer. I brought it inside to flower under CFL's I am guessing I have a couple weeks left. Lots of red hairs, but new white ones keep showing up. Here's what she looks like today.

I read somewhere that revegging is good because the older a plant gets the more THC it will produce. I may have even read that on this board. Not sure, but I am pleased with the outcome on this lady.

What do you think plants did before we were messing with them? Flower and go back to beg to repeat the next year. It takes time but theres no reason it wont work

Put some potent light on it. Don't just stick a lamp beside it and leave it on 24/7. It might take as little as 2 weeks to be up and running again. It might take a month. Depends on the plant itself. I revegged some recently (all the same straiin) and had 3 that were up and running fully in 3 weeks. My keeper was pushing out baby stems in 2 weeks.

I don't think they revegged lol lots of male female action goin on, lots of seeds...
Unless you really want to keep that particular strain, I would think it's a huge waste of time.

Hi iv re-vegged a plant after 9 weeks in flower, harvested all kola's etc n left bottom popcorn buds n leaves on it, left about a 3rd of plant.. it took about 3 weeks for new weird 'rabbit-eared' looking leaves to appear, by week 7ish there was plenty of new shoots from mostly bud area's, I took cuttings at 9 weeks after start of re-veg, then put re-vegged plant back into flowering tent ( with others ).. it takes wee bit of time, but if wanna keep genetics, then go ahead do it, it's not that hard.. patience is key.. good luck with your re-veg ..
Happy growing

I cut Nov 1 and left a few sticks with some TINY buds and I just checked it this morning (not thinking it would do anything) and theres a BUSH!!!

Possible stress hermi? It would probably be better to just start a new seed or get a clone.
Its going back to veg lol. Ive never seen a veg hermi before. What the op is suggesting works fine from what ive seen. Nice way to save genetics if you forgot to take a clone.
