So im building organic living soil beds.....ill for the most part be feeding plants through my soil & top dress ammendments. But i wont lie....ive been tempted to cheat here & there & sneek in an (as organic as i can find) a liquid nute hear & there (mostly liquid kelp & seaweed).....i know i know..."its not true organics if i comes in a bottle....bla...bla..bla.." lol.....i get it.... but im not trying to certify anything & just grow for myself personally.

My question is..... is there anything here being listed that I WOULD NOT WANT TO ADD to a living soil?

Will anything here damage or kill microbes & the microbial food web?

Liquid vs solid has little to do with organics, really.. Just so happens that there's often an overly corporate, bottled substitute (usually synthetic and over priced) for everything natural out there so yeah of course there's a lot of negative stigma there.

Shilajit resin
Aloe gel
Coconut water
Mineral Salt water
Lacto bacillus serum
Neem oil

Some examples of great organic inputs. All technically liquid and therefore bottled or bottle-able often times.

Fish hydrolosate
Soluble humics
Worm leachate
Liquid kelp
Liquid sea kelp
AACT

More examples of things I don't feel a need to use but wouldn't frown upon.

This can go on and on but..
If you want to cheat per se, do a favor for your microbes and food webs..

  • Ensure you use a superior form of myco fungi vs the average crap filled with fillers
  • Use premium inputs for your fungals and bacteria too. Grokashi and succanat as examples.
  • Then add a few % of Biochar to the mix to maximize EM survival chances / enhance long term micro habitats..
  • Foliar regime for terp development, pest defense
  • Robust aeration beyond basic perlite (weak)
  • Strong genetics.
  • Protective Mulch.
  • Broad and diverse spectrums.
  • Environment dialled in.

If you have all that in place you can sit back and laugh while you let the water and bene's do the rest, especially if not in a small pot ..
