hi all can u please clarify that this is the stuff i want to put in my res ,, to sort out any bad bacteria and root problems etc (algae)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Food-Grade-Hydrogen-Peroxide-Peroxygen/dp/B001XM8WEA/ref=pd_cp_d_1

also my system is a six plant system and my roots are tangling up in the res!! 2 plants are becoming dominant and one has been left behind, i think due to the dominant plants roots taking more than its first share.. is this normal or should i try to seperate the root mass,, big thanks to all that reply.

The roots being tangled together shouldn't be a problem. Are they all the same strain?

Forgot to mention, you don't want to use H2O2 with organic nutes...if your using organic nutes.

you can use h2o2 with any type of nutes. remember though, any bennies you have in the mix will have to be re-applied. the h2o2 will kill them!

im using ghe flora range and yes they are same strain, i was wondering about the roots tangling up because out of the three plants in a line, the growth has been the same up untill 1 week ago when roots started to matt and now there are 2 that are twice the size of the other, also the littler ones leaves are droopy and she looks depressed . bless her :) i have noticed a little browning of the roots and some dark patches in the root mass, this is why i want the h202 as i belive this will alleviate the problem as well as other benefits.

also what are bennies please mate, do u mean beneficial additives? if so wat about normal nutes as well? thanx for all ya help its needed lol first time bubbler

well, i have a small DWC and the root tangling isnt really a problem unless you are going to transplant- then its a problem trying not to damage them

i use 3 ml 29% h202 per gallon and it keeps everything nice and clean it seems

and as far as 2 plants doing better than 1.... i had a few that were growing half pace for like 3 weeks in my clone/veg bucket, i did a full flush of the res and ran just straight water for 2 days then added nutes and everything picked up fine now

why even bother with h202? Is your rez lightproof? I usually just clean my rez with the plain old 3% peroxide when I change water. If you change your ater weekly this should not be a problemo.

well with me for example
that would mean changing out about 100 gallons of water a week and all the nutes in them which would get expensive

with h202 can go 2 weeks between res changes instead of paying double and flushing every week, which is a bit of work

H2O2 breaks down into water and oxygen when mixed into water.

SUPER OXYGENATED WATER, until it breaks down and goes away.

Nice clean healthy water.

yes great stuff isnt it cheers for popping in, i was just unsure on whether food grade was the right class of h202 , i have gone for oxy plus which has hydrogen peroxide in it and hygrozyme which will prevent algae and nasties appearing and also break down dead root mass, because the hygrozyme is bacteria free it can be used with oxy plus, bonus.. take it easy xum

You can use it to soak seeds in to sterilize and help with germination by increasing hydrolyses works great with a 24hr soak.
30% for 15min so id use alot less if your going to add it to your 24hr soak mix.
