Guns and Growing.

I agree at least vote for a real candidate. I mean Ron Paul!? You hate Obama that much?
I switched from Democrat to Republican to vote FOR Ron Paul, quirky but had the right idea.

After Paul went nowhere I couldn't vote for Obama for four reasons...

1) I don't want the people to have HOPE in the Government I want the people to despise government interference and over throw it. (Why do I have to convince pot growers of this? :wall:

2) He called for too much Socialism in the beginning of his campaign.

3) The 'clutching to guns and religion' comment pissed me off especially since hell ya I clutch my guns, religion well Zealots make good targets IMO.

4) I doubt he will survive his first term due to too much racial animosity in this country (read into that what you wish i WILL NOT expound further) and Biden is a dumb ass who would enact extreme gun control during race riots that make Rodney King look like a picnic in the park.

Desperate people think about what they need. AND they will do what they KNOW to get it.

Not every desperate person KNOWS where to get a gun. But if these desperate people KNOW how to hunt or fish or get a job then they have no reason to get a gun.

And I would think a hungry person would just steal food before killing for it....

I dont need to ask any scientist, any real scientist, I dont think you have... But I did go ahead and look it up for you. Please explain how it is impossible? Since you are so confidently "right"

It is possible for very sparsely-populated areas to be overpopulated, as the area in question may have a meager or non-existent capability to sustain human life

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overpopulation

And globalization was referring to Reverse Darwinism, which was what we were talking about when you said overpopulation is impossible.

:peace:
Human overpopulation of the planet Earth is very nearly impossible because it has an overwhelming amount of resources that haven't been properly adapted for use. The only problem the world has is distribution of population. Native populations are impoverished and lack mobility so they stay in places lacking in resources.

I would assume that hungry people who know and have the resources to fish would do so BEFORE they got hungry.

1. We have no need to overthrow the government its not 1984 yet . . .

2. Socialism in some sense is good for this country right now, and honestly its not really "Socialism". We need to refocus on domestic social programs, medicare, education, green building, inner city revival ect. No more overseas imperialism.

3. Your beliefs are more tied to fundamental religious sources than you know. That seems to be why you have a real split with your political views.

4. I doubt that :peace:

One word... "Yet." Shall we wait until we're slaves to overthrow the government or get a head start?

Socialism in SOME sense, right now the greedy government is using it to make a profit. For every $100 out of our pockets for education less than $40 makes it to education.

3. Your beliefs are more tied to fundamental religious sources than you know. That seems to be why you have a real split with your political views.
Which sources, I don't recall quoting any religous texts other than 'He who as not sinned cast the first stone.' and that was in reference to law breakers and growing pot.

I believe in 'natural law' the law of nature, so fundamentalist pagans maybe... are there fundamentalist pagans?

4. I doubt that :peace:
Then either you're blind as to the true racists in this country or your eternally optimistic. He had more death threats and 'plots' against him before he got elected than any President had during possession of office.

The last President with Obama's level of charisma ... got assassinated and that assassination created the second largest gun control act in history (See John F. Kennedy.)

Note: I do not advocate violent actions against elected officials.

In that you may be correct... You remain optimistic I'll remain pessimistic and when the shit hits the fan come to my place and bring LOTS of weed. I'll have to guns to fight off who ever we chose to be against if you've got the weed to keep us happy in the down hours.

You will be fighting them off with guns and I'll be sharing my harvest with them. There are many ways to live and be happy we don't have to continue to live in fear. Just try not to resist change too much and be kind to your neighbor :peace:

If shit hits the fan we can start our own society! We can have all the guns and grow all the weed we want! And kill anyone who stands in our way!

If you know what you're doing and keep only handguns, cut into a wall between the supports and make a flip door connected to a dowel fed through the beams. Make whatever box you want inside your wall. It all looks very clean if you take your time and do it right.

I don't understand why in the hell (unless there are little ones around ) you would have a gun and not keep it loaded???? maybe im a little different but if you pick up any one of my weapons you better believe they are loaded.

sorry to chime in and im not trying to be a tard. I just never have understood that point.

By the way I dont have a round in the chamber just a full magizine.

Some people only use their guns for hunting, and like you said, some people have kids around or have friends who are not responsible enough to be playing with loaded weapons.

Accidents happen when people dont know a gun is loaded. I know a guy who got shot in the face because some kid thought his dads rifle wouldnt be loaded....:wall:

And in some places your not even allowed to own firearms for protection. Im pretty sure LIS, the OP said that in Australia you cant have firearms for protection, only for hunting/sport. Australia is pretty advanced in gun control though.

EVERY gun I have is loaded with 1 in the pipe, and no less than 2 spare mags right next to it. No kids.

Had some friends over and forgot to take my 1911 off my computer desk before they showed up, they asked "Is that loaded?"

I replied, "Yes I don't believe in paper weights."

They backed away ...

I said, "Trust me, it has nothing against you and won't shoot unless you really piss it off."

They didn't find the humor in it.

where I live in NY yeah you would get charged with more. people get busted all the time and the headlines read " pounds of marijuana and multiple guns confincated. " if you read the article you find the guns were hunting rifles

I own guns lots of them. some legal some not so legal. I don't worry about it "because I'm to smart to get caught"

Just because they have hunting rifles at the grow ops doesnt mean they are registered to legal licensed owners, It could just mean that they have stolen rifles. Stolen rifles can be pretty damn cheap because no one wants to hang on to one and they are a lot bigger and harder to hide then hand guns.

I never like to make claims like that lol, anything can happen. Not being caught just means you havent been caught Yet.

I own some guns, 16 gauge double barrel, Glock 22 40 cal with the old 16 round mag. an old M-1 Garand 30-06 military rifle that can take a man out at 500 yards with the iron sights. I do not register any of them, nor do i have any permits of any kind. The glock is loaded, but out of reach of anyone who doesn't know where it is. If things get really personal I have a nice Authentic forged 47" Japanese Katana from the 1700's that can very easily make a bad day even worse for a fella. I also have a nice Home security System and a CCTV system connected to a DVR on the net so I can check on my grow anytime I want. I don't have the weapons to protect my grow, they are for home/self/family protection only.

I love the remote monitoring of the grow. Are you at all worried about possible risks from running a live feed over the net?

Maybe Im paranoid, but I hate pigs.
