This is my second grow of the jolly green plant we call cannabis. I'm proud to have traded in my growing V-card ladies and gentlemen.

Ok so there are a few changes to my second grow.

1. I am using both the 4 x 2700k bulbs and 4x 5000k bulbs. Will do so through entire grow. May add LEDS further, maybe.

2. I ditched the box, because I dont need to hide it from anyone. So honestly idk why I went with the box to begin with.

3. Got a new oscillating fan because my last one sucked.

4. I switched to nature's care organic soil / 30% perlite...( appreciate the comments, but I made this decision for my own reasons and I love it lol).

5. And most important, this is a BAGSEED GROW!! never know what you will get, and I love that too.

Ok so I started with 3 plants, one didn't make it due to my wife pouring a whole fuxking cup of water straight on a seedling. The roots got uprooted and it died when I finally seen it.

So now I have a familiar pair, ( if you have followed my previous threads.
BLUE POT & GREEN POT are back!!

This time the green pot is looking like my fav.

Temps stay about 80 and maybe 68 when I have my A/C going. I rarely check humidity to be honest.

So here they are exactly 12 days old.
They sprouted on June 1st. Looking to be done around end of August .

Forgot to mention they are under 20/4 light schedule. I did 18/6 last time. Wanted to see a difference, if there is one.

3 WEEK UPDATE....

So just a quick update, I fimmed them both about a week ago. Green pot is looking great. The Blue is growing weird after FIM but I'm guessing it will fill out.

You will notice the layer of perlite now on top. I made the mistake of leaving sitting water in the grow space. This resulted in fungus knats. A 2-inch Layer of perlite cleared it all up in about an hour.

4 week update:

Ok so both plants have seemed to fill out more, after being fimmed. Plan on switching to flower in a few days.

I want to try bloom nutrients this grow. Only because I used no nutrients last grow, would like to see the difference.

Does anyone recommend any liquid flower stage nutrients? Preferably one I can find at a local store in the US.

Blue pot ( growing very bushy, canopy style. )

Epsom salt (not salt) is Magnesium Sulphate and cannabis loves it!

I got a free sample of MOAB at the hydro shop and it does wonders for flower and frost production. Any good landscaping place will have some good options in the synthetic department for N, P, and K.

I like the Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow, Micro, and Bloom. I have also had good luck with their Big Bud.

The Micro is a great supplement for any plant.

Silica is also a great help to plant health. You can make a tea with dandelions or just buy Dyna Grow ProTekt.

Cheers,
Mo

No, don't wait until after, but higher P and K, minimal nitrogen. I use a base 3-4-2 organic food with molasses for extra K and carbs for microbes, plus a little 0-5-0 bat guano with myco and humic acid.

What NPK ratio is ideal for flower.. and should I wait until after the Stretch.
I regret not using higher doses of N the first two weeks of flowering. Using higher N the first two weeks of flowering will help the stems get stronger.

I used Fox Farms tiger bloom 2-8-4, just as I flipped. Some of the stems could not support the buds. I had to tie everything together.

Next time I will use Grow big for at least a week into flowering, like the bottle says.

Ok well I just flipped maybe 2 days ago. I should wait until bud sites form to start right?

Sorry but I'm illiterate when it come to nutes

More importantly, when did you nute last and with what?
I haven't, have never tried them. Just usually go straight soil. Mostly because my grows only last 2 & 1/2 months. The soil usually carries it from start to finish.

But I want to try something different this time.

Would also like to point out to anyone reading.

Starting out the green pot was twice the size of the blue. The green pot started in a solo cup, then transferred.

The blue pot was planted Directly into the final pot. Now it's twice as big.

Guess having that time to make a good root system helped. Will probably go into final pot from now on. Just BE CAREFUL you only water according to size. Dont aim for runoff until it's ready. Or it will uproot and die.
