Early finishing strains don't do any good when it's the wettest fucking August you've seen. My big IAs are on the verge of melting down. My little IAs are getting mold as well. And I found some on a couple of Black D.O.G.a that are 2-3 weeks behind my IAs. I can see all of my hard work going up in mother fucking mold. It's complete overcast as I type this. Mother fucking sick to my stomach.

What me and middler are going through is a 100 year ++++ event man. You have years with wet Julys, it happens. You have years with wet Augusts, it happen. But when you break all time rainfall totals for July and have already eclipsed the August record with 11 days to go, I don't care what you do or what you're growing save maybe some exotic pure Equatorial strain, you're fucked most likely. I have cut out mold for several seasons myself, being careful with the spores, etc, but there just no controlling this shit man. Like I told Marco the other night in a text, I started cutting out moldy spot after moldy spot after moldy spot and when I got to looking good, there were spots on more buds than not literally overnight so I just chunked my trimmers in the fucking weeds and walked off cussing. Fuck it, hash material lol. Should have been spraying serenade daily as a preventative I guess.

That does suck the big one. It has been a crazy weather year in lots of places around the country. Mostly normal for me.

With that kind of rain, you might have got mold even in a greenhouse. Would lankier plants help? I mean having the bud sites further apart. Less buds, but it might come through with less mold. I've grown in trees mostly, so my plants are tall and lanky just reaching for light. Never had much mold, but then I've never stacked weight like you guys do.

Just got back from inspecting my main patch. My Getaway Lemon Skunk is looking great...sticky like glue and no mold. My Black D.O.G. that's furthest along is finally packing on the resin and getting a fruity smell. My Purple Skunk Mass is looking fabulous...it's sativa dom and pumping out the resin like my Getaway strains do that early on in flowering. I was pleasantly surprised at how everything looks at that patch. I didn't look real close this morning and I was beside myself after having seen the mold at my smaller patch with my 2 big IAs and purple Pineberry X Sea Level. I think I was seeing mold that wasn't there at my big patch on a couple of BDs and a small IA. I'll be seeing bud rot in my sleep tonight. There was no mold on my PP X SL. Tomorrow morning I'll be cutting mold out of my 2 big IAs. Its been mostly sunny with a lot of wind today and low humidity.

Not to jack your thread or anything man but I've got a quick question. I found a little mold on a few of my buds that I pinched off with my fingers..didnt have sissors. Anyway right after picking them off I sprayed the bitch down with serenade as best I could a couple times over. Think she'll be aight? I can't really see the colas so I can only hope they're not fucking encased with the shit. I didn't look super hard I was kinda in a rush but Here's a pic of what I found:
