Guerilla Grow - Queensland, Australia

@Letstrip The only nutrients I will be using are Charlie Carp liquid fertilizer with watering and some organic pellet fertilizer that will be added in a month or so. I have been looking into real organic/bio-organic gardening and it really seems like something I want to do as I have never been a fan of smoking weed grown using chemical nutes.

@Prince4118 I am working on getting a room set-up somewhere but first I need to work out some of the logistics such as temp control and humidity as summer is coming and we have intense heat and moisture. Also I have to actually buy the fans/ducting and all that other good stuff.

Oh and in other news we had 59mm of rain come down in 24 hours which is the most we have had since April, hopefully the little ones didn't get beaten into the dirt in the heaviest part of the downfall.

Went out and checked how the little ones fared and everything was sweet, two of them are about ready to be topped in the next week or so I think. Also they will not need to be watered for at least a week and a half judging by the fact that only the first 2mm has dried up in 3 days.

I have knocked together a quick cupboard using things I scavenged from around my house spending $0 on it haha, I cannot modify the cupboard in anyway as it is an old family hand-me-down blah, blah, blah... :P

I mainly want to see how it goes compared to natural sun as I have never grown under a light what-so-ever, the long tube is a single 36w and the short is 2x18w can't remember what the T rating is although the short ones are something like T10 or T12. Anyway I didn't spend a cent so if it works that is sweet, I am going to buy one of the 80w Phillips CFLs sometime in the next month or two to get some real veg power going.

Should work perfect with some topping and training
Keep the plants a couple inches from the lights I use DVD cases or magazines under the pots that way I can adjust how far away it is by a cm or so at any time

Unless I can find a sticky hook that will hold onto unsealed wood I am just going to have to make do with raising the lights when necessary using books/xbox games and other random items I can scavenge around the house(I haven't owned a DVD since 08 haha). I think temp will be an issue too once summer has begun in full force as the cabinet was fairly warm when I checked it after work earlier, probably around 30c although that is a guess.

I am also germinating 15 more seeds as the last lot got screwed by a cold snap of 13c and not one had popped after 7 days in soil after cracking, now that I have this warm cab that should not be a problem.

Went out and topped three of the larger plants that were growing their 4th tier and have had 3 seeds pop from the new batch, these I put straight into the potting mix I was using to see if it increased the germ rate... one of the seeds had managed to push its root out of the soil straight up and left the seed+cotton leaves buried 1.5cm under the ground until I did some surgery which I blame on the soil being too dense due to high water crystal content and apparently I was stoned when planting this lot because I had two seeds pop from the same container making me wonder which jiffy pot has no seed in it haha.

I am currently preparing some Coco Coir to mix 70/30 with the dense potting soil I have to lighten and increase the aeration.

Out of focus because camera wanted to look at the ground behind the plant

After going out to water and check on the babies 4 of them have started to preflower and are showing the little hairs that we want to see :) It is a bit unfortunate that they are so small but not much can be done in this situation.

Also here are some pics to show the difference in strains I have planted due to the bagseed luck and I had a couple just to show growth but they turned out to be corrupt for some reason..

I went out and pulled 4 males a week ago and at current count have 13 or 14 females in my first plot which is a few more then expected and all but two or three have begun to develop an actual bud but seeing as the season is ending I doubt it will get much growth. Work will soon begin on a different location for a scattering of 20 or so as a backup area.

A major setback has occurred, 4 of the females that had developed flowers have been pollinated and pulled from the ground, it sucks but had to be done. I will be starting more seedlings to replace the ones lost so life will go on, also my order from Attitude arrived after the second attempt.

Should have kept the pollinated ones it's not like they can pollinate others and got seeds for next season the seeds would be acclimatised to the area and would grow better

Either that or spread them babies out and get this plant growing wild In this fine country of ours I'd love a wide spread Australian land race

I did keep them, I figure I can use them for something and there is still about 10 plants out there of which 3 are females but too young to be pollinated(I hope)
