Growing with Indirect sunlight?

I was thinking about growing a plant or two in my window...
heres a picture to help with the understanding of this..
Basicly, I want to grow in my window using in-direct sunlight until they get about...7-12in. tall, then move them outdoors.
Will this work?

well, as of right now, I have my seed germed. its not in a small cup outside in the sunlight.

why not go for the indoor grow its alot more fun and better results

I plan on switching to indoor when I can get by walmart..
I was there at 12:16 last night but in SC on sundays all the store is closed except the food section..
I'm gona get like.. 6 26w or 30w CFL's and grow indoors.

Wow, I just started thinking why I asked this question.
My neighbor whos a friend of mine just drops seeds in a little pot near his window, usually has 7-9 sprouts in it, waits for them to get about 3-5in. out of the soil, then takes them and plants them outside.
Hmm.

i love indoors its great to know my babies are only a room away, also i have the security feeling, get the 6500k daylights for veg try for the 42 watters

they are going to be very week looking
