Growing other plants?

Hey guys, just got a 2X4 Ebb and flow setup. I will be using it for the Al B Fuct Perpetual harvest. The setup actually can fit 24 pots. I don't need 24 pots, and had a few questions.

I want to start a pepper collection of about 5 different peppers. I was wondering...

1. Will there be any downside to flowering peppers amd other veggies along with my grow?

2. From seed out of RW, how would I place my new veggies in a veg room with out a Hydro setup? I want to grow from RW to Perlite into flowering, but not sure what to use in Veg room since I don't have a ebb and flow setup in there yet. I only have my mums growing in coco/soil mix that I take clipppings off and go straight into the flower chamber with perlite once they set root.

I will only be adding 4 clipings into the flower chamber every 2-3 weeks from my medicinal pot plants, which gives me about 8 pots free to grow some veggies.

Any one have any thoughts on this? I'm really trying to firgure out if one this is an ok idea, and two what type of grow medium should I use till my veggies are large enough. Or will peppers from a 1 inch cube be ok to plant straight into perlite and put into flowering?

I am using my new Aerogarden and am growing Basil and Oregano out of the sides... I suppose it wont be a problem until it comes time to flower.. at that point I will just remove the herbs and do something else with them

Nice, Well I think I will grow some peppers but fill the bottom of the pots with 2inches of recycled RW and hand water them till there big enought to flower, and throw them in the ebb and flow flower chamber.
