Growing In The Winter (GREENHOUSE)

So i was thinking about building a greenhouse with wood all around the sides and only a glass roof so none would be able to see that i'm growing weed inside it.
Im planning on growing weed in it through the winter time (roughly).
Im going to have it packed with insulation a few vents on each side and some fans in it with some grow lights hooked up within it for when the sun sets and i still need the sun to keep the girls in the vegetative stage.
I will have it heated with a gas powered propane tank and packed with insulation through the sides and the floor.

What i want to know is does anyone think this would be ideal for growing weed in the winter time and if not WHY? Please comment and give me your opinions if i should go for it or not.
Thanks, Mr Cannabis Sativa bongsmilie

It would sure as hell depend on where you are. If you could share your latitude or decribe your winters, a more informed opinion would be forthcoming........BB

OOPS...my bad, just noticed you're in Ontario. As long as you can keep it from going sub 32 in there, you should be good to go. If you have privacy walls, and a glass roof, wouldn't the lights after dark kind of give it away? Wishing you good luck & good grow.......BB

Well cool then, you seem to have it "covered", pun intended, LOL.
And Boys, what's up with the avatar? Looks like paint shop to me. Somebody get another one, let it reflect something with current relevancy. Mine will change in 78 more days, and hopefully to a picture of ME and a great bodacious BUD.

I have a couple greenhouses and have kept plants in veg in them through the winter.

But I'm in California.

You just need to add more heat and light than I do.

Anything is possible. Just do your homework.

Gee, OK....it's my fucking job to edit the typos and just figure out what your're trying to say, fine.
BTW, it's a GREENHOUSE thread! Guess that just slipped passed you, hmmmmm?

Oddly enough, I read "greenhouse" on the first reading. Considering the text language some people try to use, a simple brain fart ain't a problem...

VEG! I am begging you: Talk to me. 6th year growing my gals have been outdoors in a greenhouse since the first week of DEC. last year. I want to harvest the next full Moon; 'round Thanksgiving but this morning at 5 realized the tricks are not advancing beyond just starting to 1/2 cloudy. KIN U TELL ME: Will THC continue stuck in neutral as they are or start to degrade? BTW, gals all made it to 21 degrees last night in 4 different spots in my yard under makeshift plastic covers, two w/o growlights (mostly for heat). Thank you so much. If you are ever up here near the top of the State (CA. County of Siskiyou) I have a free zip for you.

Odd I came in here today. Since my city banned cultivation last year, and I'm a well known MMJ grower, I haven't stopped in much. Not growing after many years just irritates.

Check your trichs. Estimate what percentage is amber. Some sativa strains I prefer about 5%. Others(indicas) up to 25%.

In a greenhouse Cannabis can survive temps a few degrees under freezing. Added heat can allow the girls to survive pretty low temps. 18 degrees was the coldest I've had inside a greenhouse but the pots were warmed by a space heater under under a plastic draped table.

'Morning! This is what they L(.)(.)KED like yesterday 'bout noon. My camera needs the date re-set. Ran two small elec. heaters last night. GH is 20X40. I have done a few low 20s nights this winter but day after tomorrow high is to be 37, low in the teens so I will spend the day harvesting Tues. morning. Wouldn't mind letting them go 'nuther week 'cause trichs are mostly clear; about 20 % cloud and have to look hard to find an amber.
