Clones arrived today, I went with the Gorilla Glue #4 , and the J1 , I thought it was funny I was convinced all along to go with the Bruce Banner , the sour Diesel had some reviews with high paranoid, but I have not tried it personally, I chose Gorilla glue as a night time bud, supposed to really plant you in the couch, and then the J1 is Skunk #1 and Jack Herer. a real sativa high, supposed to be a really good daytime bud, wake n bake, with a clear headed type high, creative, so I am hoping to have 2 differant ends of the fun scale,
Here we go,
The big grow light was too powerful for the little girls, GG shows some leaf twisting in just 20 minutes under the big light after transplant, So I dug out some CFL's I had in the garage and got them set up to spend some time getting stronger, the roots were showing in the clone cubes, So I watered them with some very weak nutes set at 200ppm and 6.0 ph and set the cfl's at 4 inches,, the roots need a few days to grow down and get stronger, got the heater turned on and the grow cab is set at 75, but down by the plants its reading 71, IMG_8619.JPGIMG_8620.JPG IMG_8621.JPG IMG_8622.JPG IMG_8623.JPG

Aww yiss, new round. So you are going to try mainlining with clones yes? As always I'm pulling up a chair, I'd like to see the hempy buckets in action. What's the RH in there?

Hi tim! There you go again, banging out harvest since you've been here LOL! Have you had any problems with that accurite meter? I've got three of them and they all act up. It shows temps of 86f in 80f and of 77 in 70f.

Yes, def keep the lights as close as possible so they don't stretch, keeping the internodal cing close, especially if you gonna mainline them.
Thanks bud, they def look different than nug bucket s and your from seed, I have to wait for the clones to root more and show some solid grow before I can bend and top the heck out of them

Stoked to watch this grow, I'll be doing the same just about waiting for my clones to get bigger too but growing in super soil mix just water and teas and under a scrog I'll post up a thread in this section once I get everything cleaned up and going.

too fun, let me know when your running a thread, and send me a link, put it on here if you wish so others can see it too,
right now I am mixing nutes to feed the hempy buckets, and I was just thinking how easy soil is,, meanwhile I am needed to calibrate my ph pen,, grrrr,, but I told fishdeth I would give hydro a go, I may do flood drain next round,, but thats 4 months or more down the road now, this hempy is a solid performing set up , just passive hydro, so i have to baby sit them till the roots reach the res, so daily hand waterings till that happens, its the nature of this set up,, I am enjoying peekin in on the girls while doing it, so its not all bad

I'll post a link on here for sure I'll be using my 4 Veros 29s over the two girls, I want see what these cobs can pump out I'm already loving them so far. Oh that's cool I've never ran hempy buckets sounds pretty cool tho and I'm always up for new growing ways and learning new ways. Ha yeah it always fun to have an excuse to check up on your girls haha. I'll be running a blumat system in them so they stay good and moist and just turn them off to dry for a day for teas, aloe and coconut water. I'm really liking the super soil no till way of growing you don't have to use a pH pen the soil does all of that for you. But growing in hydro is always fun too I've grown a lot in coco and two times in water, fun to see them grow super fast. I hope to be finishing up my scrog net tonight or tomorrow than clean up the cab and throw the girls into the cab under the cobs.

I think I asked you this before but are your scrog net holes 3 or 4"? I was thinking of doing 2" but I dunno if that's to small and what would be the advantage of having them bigger vs 2"? I'm never growing with scrog yet but both of my gardens I'm going to try out scrogging.

How far do you have your scrog above the tops of your pots or growing medium?
That is a really good question, on my last grow I was given some teen age clones , well established and lots of nice tops, so I set the screen at the top of those plants, and also above the electrical outlet you see on the right bottom in the pictures, and those were 3 gallon fabric containers,
But this go around I am using 3.5 gallon plastic buckets, and I think they are taller than the last fabric pots, but the screen is still at the same height as last run,,,
So, I am going to go check on the plants, and I will measure it for you ,, and come back with an answer

the screen is 9.5 inches above the buckets, but I am going to try and mainline these plants, and if that works, I wont be using the screen as a screen,, Ill be doing like fishdeth is doing in his current grow and using the scrog and just a few strings to hold up cola's ,, but If i screw up,, then Ill just end up topping and use the screen as a back up plan,, hope that made sense
