I learned the hard way with my tents. Finally learned to put them up a bit and let the plant stretch and reach for the light a little. They should start to recover pretty soon. Also, good idea to run 18/6 vs. 24. They sometimes need a break.
I need to get myself a tent one day for flowering girls.
I run 18/6, I was always a fan of letting them rest. Plus the electricity bills would kill me.

In a moment of sudden clarity, I think I may have a magnesium deficiency. THAT CHEEKY FUCK.

Good job my mother runs an organic shop, lots of Epsom salts of the shelves. :fire:

Turns out I had a shit ton of calcium in my tao water which locked out the magnesium... I added about 2.5 tsp to my reservoi and we'll see how she fairs. Maybe in 3-5 days I'll see growth back on track.

And I think I spotted a few pre flowers here and there, I REALLY WANT TO SWITCH TO FLOWER, but I have to wait...

And I NEED to make that hash one day before judgment day comes. It looks fine, no mold or anything on it.

Cheers matty, we'll see how it turns out! Me thinks it should be better, I've narrowed down the problems.
Mate it really shits you off when issues arise doesn't it ? I have had a near perfect grow this time around, but my last grow was proper shite. I'm sure things will turn around for you. I will keep a keen eye on things.

Oh mate it's enough to give me the arsehole. The constant stressing and thinking is proper annoying, I don't get it how people on their first grows do so well.

Cheers matty, I hope everything goes back to order and maybe on my next run I'll finally get that near perfect grow.

Mate she'll come good. Keep it simple is the only thing I can offer. Keep your Nutes/ additives to a minimal. That's where I went wrong last grow

Cheers, I'll definitely keep that in mind, too much nutrients is how all the problem started for me. I also had no idea there was oso much calcium in me tap water, so the lockout of Mg had to come someday. Good thing is I can act accordingly next time,, it's just I've had enough of growing for 4+ months for rubbish yield.

Although, Stick had slow growth with his latest plant at the beggining, but then had a 500g yield... not saying I'll be anywhere near even half of that, but it gives me hope. :D

Right then, after adding a new set of nutes to the reservoir and foliar feeding the epsom salts... I woke up today to something interesting. The leaves of the plants werre finally standing out, no drooping anywhere to be detected! The mag deficiency hasn't gone away, but I'll continue to spray her, but could this be a good sign?

PH is also at 6.1, I want to make sure she'll be taking up as much Mg as possible.

I'm interested what I'll see tomorrow.

Usually after I correct my issues the effected leaf doesn't turn back to a nice green leaf like it was before. As long as your new growth is healthy and you can notice your plant growing ID say you're golden.

Cheers Kswisss I'll be monitoring the new growth. The shoots are growing, but the top node isn't, maybe in a few days it'll be back on track, anyway the leaves standing out is a good sign.

And I've been thinking, I have absolutely no bloody idea how to train her... once normal growth resumes (if) I'll have to start...

Oh wow, you do have a problem there, you should of trained it a bit. :D

Anyway, the only option I can give you is to tie the top of the stem to your pot. Check out tie down method. Don't over do it in one day, just keep bending it bit by bit everyday or else you'll snap the stem.

Been thinking, maybe I'll just top her and then band as much as possible and install a screen.

I'll just have to get creative a find a way for me to later on change the reservoir with no problem!

PLan: top her in a few days, build a screen put it over her and then wait maybe a week and flip? Could be a bit too early for that though.

Pics, pics, pics. Lots of shoot activity uner the leaves, she's really bushy there.
oh yeah, totally lush bushiness there! :D

I would be very tempted to at least LST her so the branches get spread out more -- and yes, topping once will get more growth to those side branches further up too.

How's your distance to the light? It may help you with training to have the light a liiitle bit higher up for a few days so she stretches out of that bush-shape a bit.

Good luck on the creative bondage solution, to me it seems like one of the most complicated tasks in DWC setups.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!
