Growing in a friends house, legal?

Hey everyone,
I recently got my mmj card and I moving in a month or so. Where I'm living does not allow marijuana even if it's medical, but I have a friend who is willing to let me grow at his house in a discreet manner. So is it legal for me to grow at his house so long as I stay within county limits and post a copy of my paperwork in the grow box? It'd be a completely legal grow, just not on my property. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
gdoggrower

as far as I know, yes it would be legal. could be wrong though but should be fine as a caregiver

At least in colorado, you must have the proper address of your plants on your medical registry paperwork. This can be solved by doing a change of address form through your states registry. If you are in CO, I can give you the proper links, if not, they shouldn't hard to find (SEARCH - "(insert state here) change of caregiver/address form")

I'm doing some research now about this. From what I have read your 'caregiver' needs to have a department of health services card. They should also visit your doctor so that the doctor can provide them the recommendation to be the caregiver. Caregiver has to pay doctor and DHS just like you do.

Read up a bit more. I learned some from here: www.davcol.org/faq_s.html

I know I still have more to learn. If you still need more info go to the NORML site AND contact an attorney. Many attorneys offer some free consultation time.

Easiest and safest thing for everyone concerned would just be for your friend to get a MM card. No worries of getting busted or any prosecution then, he/she can just say it's theirs. Guarantee you that he or she can get one, there are plenty of places in Cali, especially So-Cal, that practically hand them out like candy. Not necessarily a good thing for the MM movement, but it's a fact. There are reputable places here in So-Cal where you can get them for $40 with a coupon.
