Growing in 1 gallon buckets

Hey all. I have a quick question, I have a 5 gallon bucket outdoor grow going. Mostly bagseeds, but they are flourishing really well. I have 12 Holland Hope seedlings shooting up quick in some jiffy pots. My question is would be it ok to grow these in 1gallon buckets? My wife bought 1 gallon and I wasnt sure if these would be too small for good root growth. Thanks for ya'lls help! -- mal

they'll get root bound pretty quick in 1 gallon pots. I'd go for at least the 5 gallon pots for better results. good luck!

1 gallon is fine for now. I've seen huge plants in 16 oz dixie cups. after I saw that I stopped believing in root bound.

I learned from experience though, bigger is better. in time it will be rootbound. different stokes I guess!
Well I've tried the dixie cup method and it has worked but that was my first grow and I had a fairly good yield but of course I use bigger pots now just cause I like to pamper my babies.
