Growing Auto Flowers with 315 LEC

i recently purchase the sun lec 315 light. I am undecided whether to use photos or autos. I would like to hear/see those that are growing autos under this system Looking for comparison of yields under the 315 as to other lights. Do you get better yield? The quality better? Please help me out with this topic.

Autos will finish first if you are wanting some buds. I have the lec and am happy with the purchase. Most are getting 1gpw. I got 225g dry my first run. 310g on second run. Taste and high more affected by genetics. Start off at 30 inch from canopy and let it grow up to 22 inch then start raising light

This with auto or photos

mine was with photos. but if i had to start over, i might do one run with autos and at about a month later start some photos with just cfls or floros and top and train them so they are ready for bloom tent when the autos are done.

To your question about yield between the two, photos have the potential to yield more in general (there are always exceptions) and the key is that once you find a good yielding/tasting/potent pheno you can clone it and run it as long as you want. Can't do that with autos. While autos have progressed, they can't be compared to top notch photo strains yet.

Are yields better with autos using the 315? Than say s 400hps

The 315's will out-yield 400 hps, doesn't matter what type of seed or clones for that matter. They'd be closer to running a 500w hps if they made such a bulb.
