Grow Tents & Their Quality!

Im looking at purchasing a new grow tent online. Was looking at a few brands, some cheaper than others. The idea is to shoot for something thats atleast 4'x4' x6'(high), has 6" diameter duct holes, holes for electrical/venting, lightproof, and insulated/mylar/reflective inside. Something that can hang/support a cooltube/reflector too~

Cheap-er name brands that caught my eye:

Virtual Sun Grow Tents (4x4x6.6 for $130!)
&
DH Grow Tents (4x4x6.6 for $190)
&
The Dark Room (4x4x6.6 for $240)

The obviously answer seems Virtual Sun Grow Tents but I wasnt too sure on their quality. If the added $60 would save me installation headaches if I went with the DH Grow Tent instead. Any input is GREATLY valued~!

I just can't afford a Silver Edition HydroHut =( however they do look awesome.

i got mine, 4x4x6.5 for 136.00 thats including shipping. ( accesshydropinics ) highly reflective waterproof mylar.

Lighthouse hydro- 4x4x7 for $174. If you will be doing any scrog or other training intensive grow make sure you get something that opens on at least 3 sides.

i got one for $119 on e-bay it does the job but i wish i would have got the 4x6x6 now.

no its 48x48x78 inches for 119.00. it has two windows and a door. 7 vent holes. accesshydroponic.com i'm looking at right now online. it says 79 on page add but when you click on it it changes to 78 inches tall. check out there grow lights too.

Yeah I see you can get a 1000w digital ballast + 6" air cooled hood + a 1000w MH & 1000w HPS bulb for $300! Granted the ballast is just generic and not lumatek or anything special. Not a bad deal. Definately got nice tents!

yeah its not a top notch ballast, but they have better ones than the combo kit. but if your setting up its cheap. my hydro stores are way higher for the same thing. wanted 180.00 for my same tent.

4x4x6 off amazon, virtual sun tent $68 bucks on amazon. 4 x 4" air inlets. Good tent

i have a darkroom 2 5x5 and just bought a growmedics 4x4x7 for 200. i like the layout of the vents and what not on my secret jardin, but not the price. i saw the growmedics had the exact same layout and half the price of the darkroom, so i ordered it not knowing the quality. but i was happy to see that the quality is just as good as the darkroom and the zippers are actually better! i would recommend growmedics over secret jardin because of price, however the size was smaller. idk the price of the growmedics 5x5, but the quality is great

you will need someone to help put the tent over the frame. that parts not to easy. do what they say and unzip everything or it wont go over the frame. putting the frame together is simple. (i'm 6'3 and i had trouble with putting the tent over the frame.) had the wife help.

i set it up myself put the frame together then laid it on its side to put the tent on.

good call, i didn't have room to do that. i have to much stuff in the room.

So you wrap the tent/frabic around the frame? Im lost haha.

you put the frame together, then you unzip the hole tent. find the bottom. set the bottom of the frame in it. then you have to rap or drape the hole thing around it. sounds easy but it gave me some problems at first. but then again i'm high all the time!!!
