Make a tent out of 2x2s, wood screws, lag screws, machine bolts, machine nuts, and washers.

It sounds like a lot, but it'll all probably come out to like 30 dollars without the walls.

Who cares if you have to rip it down. I've ripped up and reconstructed 2x2 tents so many times... Think of it like a teepee!!! lol. Only up for a little while before the game moves somewhere else!

I see it as a pain in the ass when u can just have a tent that's easy to set up and take down its definitely worth the cash. Or just for get the ten and grow in a room. Both of those are way better options.

Growershouse.com has secret jardin as cheap as anywhere. I got my 5x5x7 under 200$. Im about to pop on a nice gorilla tent and have been price shopping. Growershouse has an amazon store with some lower prices than thier website.

I have two Lighthouse Hydro tents, and had them for well over a year with no issues whatsoever. Cheap too!

i own a gorilla, and while they are sturdy thick material, highly reflective, and yes hold a ton of weight, the complaint is with the zippers being crap and having sections on the front that dont interlock, tent sections do not fit to well though it does work..overall it is a nice tent and i had to do nothing to make it stronger, and minimal amount of light patching if you will...though i dont recomend having any lights outside the tent on when its night time inside..

Secret Jardin really are quality. I always wondered why they were so expensive, until I ordered one.
There's a lot of shady retailers in the hydro world who mark garbage quality products up at ridiculous margins, but SJ tents are not one of them. With a little Amazon diligence, you can save yourself some $ over the local hydro store as well.
As an aside, I see a lot of growers claiming to "support your local shop"
Let them burn in my opinion.
Amazon all the way;)

All depends what your needs are my friend:

Want a quick solution with little to no effort, fixed dimensions and a high cost? Buy a pre-made tent.

Want a flexible solution that takes some effort to plan and build but is cheaper and fits your specs exactly? Build a tent from wood or PVC.

I just got done with a 10x3x7' PVC tent and only cost me about 100bux. If you do go PVC I'd suggest 1.25 or 1.5 inch if you plan to hang stuff from the frame. You can also find wooden dowels that perfectly fit inside the PVC tubes for added support if needed. Just make sure you cover all the exposed PVC on the inside of the tent so it does not weaken and degrade from UV and other light.
