Gorilla is probably the best out there but they're expensive. If you don't get the gorilla I'd go with the secret jardin.

I have a Secret Jardin and a Lighthouse Hydro. Hands down, the SJ is better, at least as far as light proofing is concerned. I had to tape up several spots on the LH due to light leaks at all of the top seams.

i was thinking about the panda roll....but got to take in the fact this would be my first build so automatically factor in one massive mess up and need to redo it ...then i will forget something and have to jerry rig it in ....there by cuasing myself more problems

took me a month to build a stil correctly and that was 10 hours a week working on it when i could

tent 1

tent 2

tent 3 .....this is the one i like best

i looked up some of the tents u guys said damn...i can skip eatting for a couple days but 2 weeks i can not afford that ( 1 meal a day 12 to 17 bucks) ...........out of those 3 choice what one do u think would be better ( worst case amazon can return it )

if u know a better one some where about 100 150 bucks please tell me .............my total spendable budget is about 300 400 ( that is 10 days no eatting and nothing fun for the month ) i have one lotus light 9500 lumens mutli spec.....doing autos

Check out this site. These guys started their own line of products called bloomerang and ive used the blowers, tent, ballast, hood, and bulb. i had some trouble with the bulbs but other than that everything's pretty legit! and cheap. plus the offer warranty on all products so every bulb that was crap was replaced instantly. I think youll like their tent prices www.gardensupplyguys.com

I bought the Xen Lux 3x3 that's available for a hundred bucks on ebay. It's great. Poles don't droop, has three big screened intake flaps, and plenty of holes for cords and cables and junk. The exhaust ports are four inches, so you'll need a 6 to 4 converter, but that's not really an issue.

Food for thought: All grow tent fabric is of significantly higher mass than 2 layers of 3/4" thick Mylar coated 4' x 8' poly shield foam insulation board ( 2 layers is lightproof). Use a roll of flex fix tape and I guarantee you could easily put together a grow box/tent/room of any size that custom fits the exact volume and footprint you desire. With just about the same reflection properties and way less heat absorption (lower temps). If you get sloppy on your seams, just put a triple layer of black duct tape.

this would be my first build in this area....as other hobbys have showen me i would mess up on the first and have to redo it to have something working .....so first off easier to get something that can be used to keep 4-6 plants going tho the cycle

your method would be a whole room convert............which i would use later in a mass scale year round for more then just me op .............but first i have to prove the concept to some ppl.....plus a break on my personal bill to stay sane in this crazy ass world

I prefer my tent. 2 x 2, a roll of panda, and an adhesive zipper. $60.
But when it comes to taking it down it wont be like new again or as easy to take down or set up. A little bit of extra cash will save the some hassle. Plus the material in the tents are more reflective. Like most things in life you get what you pay for!

I did TONS of research on grow tents and was prepared to buy a cheap ebay one. Then I realized the Secret Jardin is only $40 more for the 3x3x6 and decided its def worth the extra $$ to be the most light proof and is pretty much the best reviewed tent. I love the tent, and I actually got a hydro shop locally to price match greners so I only paid like $160 for it and didnt have to wait for shipping :). OH BTW: if you can buy locally for same price do it. The first DR90 I bought was actually missing 1 of the main poles so I had to go exchange it and when I did the girl told me its not the 1st Secret Jardin shes seen missing poles! That shit would suck to have to ship it back and wait again.

If $ is no option buy the Gorilla but they are SUPER pricey compared to all others. I saw one at the cannabis cup in person though and the Quality is def there. Plus they are taller than most tents which is a blessing. The 6' in my DR90 is barely enough.

I've used Homebox, Secret Jardin, and Gorilla. Secret Jardin is overall the best especially with lightproofing and durability. Gorilla is expensive and the best use is if you have heavy stuff to hang, they can take an incredible weight whereas secret jardin is like 60 lbs or so. If you can have a carbon filter on the ground or somehow not straining on the frame def go secret Jardin otherwise gorilla is good. Homebox's fall apart super fast, my zipper broke the day I set it up. Considering how expensive gorilla is I'm pissed the zippers/tent sections don't fit better and that it was MUCH better lightproofed. Gonna take an epic amount of electrical tape to seal.
