Hey everyone, The Kind Tree in Oxford is starting up a grow school. Classes start on November 29th. The price is $300 per person BUT if you sign up before the 5th of November, then you receive $50 off.

We will be teaching:
Intro to Horticulture
Indoor Gardening
Environment
Soil and Hydro
Seed to flower and harvest
Problems and cures

Our classes will be smaller, so we can answer everybody's question and have it be a little more personal.

The classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15pm for 4 weeks.

We also have a doctor on site by appointment only to get your Michigan Medical Marijuana card.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask on here or through PM.

THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS DONT YOU KNOW PATIENTS ARE ENTITLED TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO GROW THEIR MEDS FOR FREE!?!?

:end sarcasm:

lol sorry i couldnt help it just came out of the caregiver/patient pricing argument thread.

i believe this is a great idea ive seen the stuff people are passing off as "meds" mostly around here, many a grower could benefit from this.

joeski....that was pretty funny because I saw that thread and people were going crazy in it. But yea thats what we've been hearing that a lot of people/caregivers are just bringing in stuff from Cali because it is better? I do not know this yet because we just moved from Colorado and there was awesome meds back there. That is where we learned how to grow so we figured why not help the cause and have everyone be able to grow awesome meds.

the biggest problem is people buy equipment first, then do research on how to use it. when it should be the other way around. i believe i did about 6 months or reading and video watching online before i even bought my first setup. now i am already caught up skill wise and quality wise to some people who started wayyy before me. the reason is that they learn as they go most of the time. where as i or anyone else who goes to these classes or researches on there own wayyyyy ahead of time can potentially save crops, increase quantity and quality.

Yea I agree with you joe...I was one of those people that did a ton of research as I grew but my first set-up was with cfls so it was pretty cheap. Thats is why we want to help people that want to grow for themselves because thats half the reason why a lot of people stop growing after their first try.

Is grow med that big big school that i've seen advertised? Our classes start on Nov. 29th. The Price is $300 but if you sign up before the 5th then its $50 off.

I also forgot to mention that our caregivers have positions open. I will have to double check on prices but I do know that they will deliver to your house if you are in the area.

Why not just spend as many hours as you would listening to your speakers and just read here........for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a dumb idea. Paying hundreds so some jerkoff can "teach " you how to do what took most of us decades to master. What a JOKE.

No shit.........Probably home schools his kids.
With all of the garbage schwag flooding this state, this clearly couldn't hurt.
You guys should post flyers in the local grow shops. I far too often see people dropping thousands on equipment when they clearly have no idea how to grow.

Anyone without a degree in horticulture representing themselves as a "teacher" should be incarcerated.

I can not stand it when people just decide for themselves that they are competent to teach others horticulture and set up a school. You know, there are real schools with real accreditation that offer horticulture classes.

Who is foolish enough to pay to go to a pot growing school with no accreditation and no scholarly standards. Take a class at your local community college or just buy a book and read it.

This is fraud.

yea spend $600-800 on a college class or you can take it with us for $250-300 and we will be able to teach you pretty much the same exact thing. And we all have college degrees if that helps anyone at all haha
