Grow room set question about odour control

So I'm growing in a room to the back of my house. It's about 12x12x7. Im not using the entire room but I don't hav a grow tent. I'll just be using like a 5x5 area to the back or sumn. The air vents can only be placed to the front of the room that's where the door to the room is. (If I need vents.)

Question is:
If the plants are growing to the back, and there is only one way the scent can leave the room which is thru the door, can I hook up a carbon filter to the door to control the scent leaving the room? Would I need a powerful cf for that since the room is 12x12 or since the air is passin that one exit point so it doesn't matter? Or do I have to grow close to the door for the filter to be able to work? Also. Is it possible to control humidity in that one area if it's jus out in the open of the room and not in a tent or anything.

attach a carbon filter to a door? what the f is u talknbout.
Um. since the door is the only exit/entrance, I will cut holes in the door for the exhaust and intake. So I was gona hook up the filter to the exhaust and install it on the door itself. Since there is no way to get exhaust or intake holes.

How is it a stupid question? I can't put holes anywhere else, the walls to the sides are double layer concrete and lead to the neighbors. What's wrong with putting vents in a door?

Well I'm not an expert, and I wasn't gona use any ducting. I was just gona put the filter there with an extraction dan. The scent inside the room is not a problem, but the scent escaping is. Why do I need ducting if the air has to pass thru the door anyway? That's it's only way out. And I'd appreciate suggestions. If what I wana do won't work tell me what can. My uncle is really sick this isn't a game for me. I'm tryna get some medicine.......

It doesn't really sound like you actually need our help. How the fuck were we supposed to know you had double concrete walls that went to your neighbors house.

I apologize - I know this isn't simply a hobby to many. You can mount a fan and filter to the door but mounting it will be tricky. While 4" fans are lighter than 6" fans (obviously) they are still quite heavy, and along with a filter, which lacks appropriate anchors to secure to the fan (my least favorite part about setting up the ventilation) you're going to have a very difficult time mounting the system to the door so that it can swing open and shut freely without the fan and filter falling off.

I may be confused and if I am I apologize, I just want you to understand it won't be easy to do and will take some DIY. I appreciate that there is no other way in your situation to do this, so I wish you the best of luck and hope you update us on your solution as I personally would like to see how you manage it.

Best wishes.

I will take everything into consideration and do some trial an error. If I hav to cut a another space at the bottom of the door and use it like a doggy entrance I'll do that so i won't have to open it. Will update when I get to that point. Thanks for the info.
