Grow number 2 :)

Hey guys decided to start a grow journal instead of flooding the forums with posts lol so here it goes .

I built a 1 1/2ftx1 1/2ftx2ft pvc frame that i covered with aluminum foil (thats temporary just havent had the money to get mylar yet ) im going to be using CFLs i currently have a set up making with 2x4's that i drilled holes in to put 8 lights with 8 Y splitters so it will be 16 cfls in total plus the ones i will have side light i will be running around 300-400 actual watts of cfls in my 1 1/2ftx1 1/2ftx2ft box when i get to flowering . I germinated 5 and planted 5 yesterday and they have been running on 24hr light with about 150-170 actual watts they are in small foam cups about 3in tall with MG super bloom potting soil . I plan on them coming out the ground in about 2 days if ive missed anything or you guys have any questions please let me know im nice and stoned and ready to have a good conversation about my babies lol . I will post pictures when i wake up of progress and my set up

Okay guys i check my babies today and 4/5 have sprouted its been really nice outside lately so i put them outside and nature did its magic im gonna leave them outside the rest of today and then move them into my grow box permantly . I guess i can count today as DAY 1 of my grow journal im really excited not much to report at the moment but ill be posting every day till harvest . I took some pictures of my "grow box" too lol as you will see duct tape is the best thing ever .

Gotta love duct tape...lol...looking good man

What strains is it ?

Preciate it bro they are just reg bag seeds lol nothing special im kinda sketched out about buyin seeds offline if i were to do it ive read alot about herbies so they seem pretty reliable .

I've heard the same...I use TSSC...they have worked great for me so far.

Preciate that bro i just browsed their seeds and its like endlessss lol i think im gonna go with one of the heavy weight autos . I think one of them would do great under my set up once its completed

Okay guys after hours of reading im gonna try going 12/12 from seed with 4 plants in 1 gal pots . Im going to transplant them when they have about 3 nodes . Ive read alot and since im not trying to be grower of the year i figure i could pull at least a quarter off each thats a ounce total at the least and im happy with that plus its from what ive read ready to harvest in 40-50 days sometimes shorter . Lets see how it goes

In my experience even 12/12 from seed the plants will take 2 to 4 weeks before they show sex or start flowering

Yea it takes a little while to show sex cause they still go through a veg period when they go 12/12 from seed from what ive read . I picked this way of growing cause im just trying to get as much as i can in the little amount of time cause my bestfriend doubts me so he said he'd buy me a 400watt hps and some foxfarms if im succesful this time help me prove to hime i can grow my babies and get a nice harvest lol . This is them today tho not much happening on day 2 lol

Me too bro me too lol ill keep you posted . Hopefully itll go well and ill be growing like a pro with a hps system next time around

Quick question hows my proximity to my plants ? Too far ? Or is it to early to really matter ?

Once again not much to report they are starting to get slightly bigger . They are currently outside gettin some good natural sun

Little update more of a self note lol but ive replaced some of my light bright cfls with some 2700k cfls since im doing a 12/12 from seed I have 6 light bright 23 watt cfls and 4 14watt 2700k cfls . I plan on getting more to help with flowering a little more

Got bored last night before lights went off so i transplanted into the pots i want them to finish out in . Once again its a nice day outside today so theyre soakin up that good sunlight . They seemed kinda dry when i put em outside this morning so i sprayed the dirt till it was moist . Not much growin so far but ik she'll explode with growth in a couple weeks time
